First, they ruined the leather patch on a WW2 Coast Guard banner by putting it under heat without protecting it. Then they left it to me to research a replacement value. As I waited for a response from the Coast Guard museum that never came, they sent off our family heirloom as an insurance claim and tell me "It's gone. We can't get it back." I was never contacted that they were sending it away. I am devastated. What's more is that Kim Smith, manager, was aggressive, defensive, and only rolled out an apology because I basically asked for it. It was as if they were accusing me when they ruined the banner, didn't offer to promptly compensate for it, then got rid of it with no way to get it back. She also gaslit me saying she called. That did not happen. I also have checked my cellular records for any incoming calls and there are zero. She stood there and lied to me with a lobby full of customers in an aggressive manner. Never. Ruined a 300 dollar velvet coat and took zero accountability. The risk factors to cleaning the coat were not explained. In addition, the cleaner KNEW they had ruined the coat and did not tell us when we picked it up. We discoverers cut when we got home. Management was mouthy during my phone call and overall showed lack of emotional resiliency to a VERY UPSET customer. brought in a velvet coat that one of my cats had gotten ahold of and peed on. Coat came back to me utterly ruined. Got charged 35 dollars and was blamed for the damage because i "let" my cat on it. Manager told me they didn't spot clean it and just threw it inside a machine. Spot cleaning would've crushed the velvet but gotten rid of the stains and smell. I know this because i got rid of one of the stains myself. When i got it back, that section i had cleaned, which had been crushed, was no longer crushed. unprofessional and extremely rude. read more

I had a letterman's jacket i needed 4 patches sewn onto and I needed the jacket cleaned... these patches resembled those you would see on a Biker's "CUT".... I was told it would take the better part of a month... it took nearly a month and a half.... because I complained when the time exceeded a month they told me they would discount the cost by 10% THEY DIDN'T! A stain that was on the sleeve , at the wrist was still on the jacket, and all but one of the patches were GLUED on not sewn as requested.... the problem with glued-on is that the edges eventually lift and need to be redone... the top rocker patch is already coming off; I've only had the jacket back 2 weeks. If it had only taken a few weeks I'd be inclined to have the whole thing done again per my original expectations.... but for nearly $100.00 this is one of those "Fool me Twice, Shame on ME" problems. At E Sunshine store, I paid $50 to have 2 suits and a shirt cleaned. Pointed out problem areas. Shirt was not cleaned fully. I could have gotten common dirt off, they did not, but they sealed it in with starch and hot iron. Tried to get it clean after getting it home but the dirt is now firmly set in the material. I showed them something that needed attention on one coat. They got some of it out and I was able to clean the remainder with a clean handkerchief and clear water but should not have had to. Pretty poor cleaning if I can get the remainder of something off of a sports coat with clear water. Back to the hunt for a quality cleaner. read more

Vogue repaired and Hand Washed my wife's quilt. The quilt was made when my wife was young. She helped her grandma do it. Some of the material was from the 1920's according to a well known quilter here in town. We are delighted with the result. A brand new binding was put on and the manager herself hand washed it. I brought in a jacket and pants to be altered for length. Something happened to the pants where they were altered too short. These things happen sometimes. I brought the pants back to be lengthened to my original specifications. They did the alteration without complaint and I was able to pick it up the next day. They even pressed the pants. I was not re-charged. So, this company is reliable and they will make things right if they make a mistake. read more

On Sept 6th 2017 my Fiancée took her wedding dress to Vogue Cleaners on South Freemont Ave to be cleaned and pressed. She was told it would be ready Sept 15th. At pick up on the 19th, she noticed the dress was not properly pressed in several areas. She told the manager who said he was embarrassed and would take care of it. At the second pick up she paid $106.05 and left. When she got home to try on the dress, she noticed a large 3" stain that was not there before. She returned the dress and the manager acknowledged they were at fault and that he would take care of it. When she returned to pick up the dress again on Friday afternoon the 22nd, she inspected the dress at the business location and found very large wrinkles that were not there before. The employee at the location (Tall thin male with large earrings) acknowledged the wrinkles. She asked if it could be corrected. He said "Um yes, the only problem is, our boiler won't be back up until Monday. Due to the wedding date of Sunday Sept 24th she took her dress to her seamstress to repair the condition. At that time the seamstress inspected the dress, which she was intimately familiar with, and found there was now a button missing. The seamstress was able to correct both conditions after approximately an hour of labor. After receiving a phone call from my Fiancée who was in tears, I contacted the store and talked to the counter guy. I told him I wanted to speak with the manager or the owner. He told me that was not possible. I told him to have them contact me that evening. After not receiving any contact, on Saturday September 23rd I went to the Freemont location to request a refund because the dress was now damaged and the dress was not pressed properly (Very large wrinkles present). I spoke with the guy from the night before and informed him I needed to speak with a Manager or owner immediately. He resisted and told me he was not allowed to contact them. After telling him I was not leaving until I spoke with a manager or owner, the manager magically appeared from the back. I explained to the manager the problem and requested a refund of $106.05. His response was that I was trying to scam him. I informed him I had pictures from the final pick up with the large wrinkles. His response was that we wrinkled it after it left the store. I tried to explain to him that the inspection took place in the store before it had left and that his employee acknowledged the condition. He interrupted me and told me to go ahead and sue him. This company seems to be completely incompetent and extremely rude. I would recommend staying as far away from this company as possible. They are very expensive, have very poor quality service and horrible customer service. There are much better options available. After the wedding we took the dress and suits to another cleaners who were able to clean and press correctly the first time and for 25% less cost. read more

Not even sure how to express my feelings towards them. They damaged my clothes and when I brought it to their attention they denied it, said my custom suits were cheap and a waste of money. I was a long term, loyal customer and will never go back.Make sure you get a count on the items you drop off and be prepared if your clothes are shrunk or damaged. Update... After giving an honest review the manager Kim S gave a horrible review to my employer even though she has never done business with the company. Yelp was kind enough to get it removed. I have been getting my clothes done at Vogue for over two decades. My mom went there and recommended them to me many years ago. My clothes always look great and the staff is always friendly. They know my name when I walk in the door and as I watch them wait on other people they know those customers by name as well. I do have admit that sometimes it takes me a couple minutes to get my clothes because their lobby seems to be always full of customers. Of course I know that's a good sign that they do great work if that many people are willing to go to such a busy place because they want the best cleaning in town just like I do. read more
