Talked with this company yesterday agreed on a price to remove cardboard and styrofoam from my garage wait for him to show up. Then he says he can't take all of it but will take some for the same price. I declined his offer and he left. End of story this was very rude and unreliable on top of being unprofessional! Communication could be a lot better. As business owner myself, good customer service and communication is half the battle with keeping a clean reputation for your business. It was stated to TEXT instead of communicating thru his Facebook BUSINESS page. I texted and asked about a rate promoted all over Facebook and his page. Not once was I advised it would be more for certain items. It stated fill the truck up, which I did not do, but no where did it say what wasnt allowed or would be extra. Everything I had was HOUSEHOLD items. I had a stackable washer and dryer that I wanted hauled. My help was advised it would be more than quoted to take it. I was fine with that honestly, paid them with no problem. However when I advised that as a business owner myself, things such as what will cost extra should be stated instead of surprising customers with the extra cost (as from some of the other reviews it's a normal thing with this company) at the time of service, he was very dismissive, rude and told me as a customer I should have called him and asked. Otherwise, communication as far as arrival time and wanting to complete service earlier than the time requested was fine. One of the guys who came to haul was very nice as he spoke with my worker about my old school cars and community events happening over the weekend. If you use this company I suggest you CALL and TEXT (for documentation purposes) and make sure there will be no surprise charges for what you need to be hauled. I'm giving PJs a one star based on my experience. The one star is only because they eventually took all the junk that I had in my backyard, well atleast most of it. My reasons for not giving them 4 or 5 stars again is based on my experience. 1. They were late or untimely. 2. When they arrived to pick up my junk, Pj jacked the price on me by 35% from the quote he initially gave me. I got other quotes from his competitors that were cheaper but it didn't work with my schedule. 3. PJ the man was unprofessional and frankly Rude. So please do yourself a favor and shop around to get better deals and better service. Me personally I would much rather pay more and get better service then Pj's. Because of the pandemic and free time I found myself creating a pile of junk that I always told myself I'd take to the junk yard. Well, that pile grew and I ended up delivering my baby earlier than expected so I needed to get this junk out of my home ASAP. I found PJ's Junk Removal from a ton of recommendations on a community forum and often saw their truck on the highway while they were doing their hauls. I texted the number that was given on their site and was immediately responded with answers. Pj was even available that same day to pick up the junk and arrived within a few hours from my initial text. He saw that the pile that I needed hauled was in the far corner of my backyard and noticed all the plants that may be in the way of removing the pile. I was very disappointed in my service today. He came highly recommended and I have used him before so this interaction came as a surprise. The pictures you see below was a price quote of $160, I them added on two appliances which was an additional $100. I agreed in a time frame and he showed up and quoted me $300 fir everything. Toward the end of his service the items in the garage he said he could not take with no price reduction. I told him should there be a price reductions since you can't take everything? He said no and there would be an additional price to come back out to take the items he agreed to take in the first place. K did not want to argue at all.
