During one of our recent wind storms, one of our trees decided to fall on another tree. It didn't hit the house but needed to be removed. After calling our contractor who called a landscaper who decided that we needed Pete. Well, we are so happy that we did. Pete of Pk Tree service was there in 5 minutes. He assessed the property and confirmed we had many dead trees. We had an estimate and appointment the next day. We agreed to a reasonable price, but then ran into issues. The company did not come on the day they said they would, and only told me they were not coming hours after I called them. We rescheduled. I asked that the company wear masks on property when they were speaking to me as we are in the middle of a pandemic. The company said they could not do that, as masks were a "personal preference." I then told them that I was no longer interested in their services; they told me they would be billing me for time lost. The company did not provide any work, was never on property aside from the original two minute estimate, apparently feel that their personal preferences trump my own health, was aggressive when I told them not to come, and threatened to bill me regardless. I am glad that others had a positive experience, but I would never recommend this company. read more

Pete and his crew did a fantastic job. I called around, they gave me the best price and came within a week. A miscommunication between my wife and I led to a giant pile of wood cut up and left on the side of my home. Although this was totally our fault and cost PK more time to cut it up and a second trip back to remove it they did it anyway. We are very grateful and extremely satisfied. I received a nasty phone call from a lady at this establishment. She stated that she had a missed call from me. I responded that I did not call and I've had a problem with cell phone spoofing; where someone uses my cell phone number as a caller ID even though I did not call and apologized for the trouble. Most establishments are understanding to this. This one was not. The lady who called me accused me of calling her accidentally, got nasty, said it was not spoofing and hung up on me. I had to call the same day of service and say THANK YOU to his wife who answers the phone! Called on a Sunday night at 9pm for a tree we cut that got caught in the neighbors tree and was hanging over the neighbors fence and shed. Pete was there an hr later giving me an estimate and putting us at ease!! 10 pm on a Sunday night - WOW! He came the next morning at 7 am with his crew and made an unsafe area safe again. Pete and his team are great!!! The woman who schedules the appointments (I am sorry I forgot her name) is awesome. I can't say enough about how nice, down to earth, and professional they are.
