The five pin bowling is in the basement next to the Tavola restaurant. It is a little older than some of the 'big box' bowling places around but has ~14 lanes, some pinball machines, nice shoes, and it was a perfect Friday night out with our two young kids. They have guard rails and small bowling shoes for them which added to their excitement. It's licensed and they serve some snacks but we did not stay long enough to try anything. It was really clean and organized. Loved that they had the glow in the dark/disco bowling. The other lanes were occupied by large groups of kids (birthday?) and other families out for some fun. I have been here a million times to have drinks in the bar and eat dinner though. The bartenders are friendly and funny and quick with your drinks. The food is great. The owner is Italian and makes one of the best white pizzas that I have ever had....and the regular pizzas are great too! If you don't feel like ordering a whole pizza, you can get bar food (including the awesome fries). Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful and it's a nice environment to come hang out in - - and it's family friendly! My daughter bowls here every time that we are in town and my nieces and nephews bowl here regularly. Overall - wonderful, family-friendly environment with good food and a good atmosphere. Damn I knew it had been awhile since I was at Bowl-O-Drome and I knew not to expect new or even…read moremodern equipment from here but...the fact I couldn't even get through a game was a tad bit ridiculous. Balls that wouldn't count, not so bad but, I didn't pay to sit and manually insert corrections this entire time. Then it switched to entire frames that wouldn't count so badly that my entire party was on the 5th frame before I even got out of the 1st. A tad ridiculous, Frank and Chris must really be starting to let this place go.

Never waited more than a half hour. The bar is overpriced for food. It's not great food it's a bowling alley, I'm not expecting gourmet food! Our bowling ball did get stuck a few times and they had to reset the pins but that didn't bother us too much. We didn't keep score as it was manual & I don't know enough to bother. It was fun just bowling away. I went with my niece and she had a ton of fun. It is not wheelchair accessible. You need to go down a narrow flight of stairs to get to the basement bowling alley.
