We just came back from doing a quilt and cuisine shop hop, plaid sheep was one of the six stop on the passport. Each stop you was to receive a special surprise gift. At other stops you got a fat quarter or a spool of thread, but plaid sheep just printed a pattern instructions only no template on card stock. When looking at the fabric and items at their shop they expensive and not a wide variety of fabric. It was for like mostly a gift shop not a fabric store or quilt shop. With a far better selection than any Jo-Anne Fabrics store, a creative environment that will get any crafters gears turning & a well organized/clean layout; this is any talented sewers dream. However, this shop is definitely not for beginners! Although there are plenty of adorable banners, flags, place mats & quilts to view; they're strictly for display purposes only. So someone like me (whose lucky they can even thread a needle) is out of luck. But if you want to risk it and find unique prints that you wont find elsewhere , vibrant colors & interesting patterns- this is the place to be. There is a small section when you first walk in that has items for purchase, such as hand towels and soaps, baby items but again, its more for skilled sewers rather than wishful thinkers. read more

Selection is absolutely 5 stars, Service has to be ZERO stars. We were in the store for 30 minutes and no one greeted us, offered to help, or even offered a smile. One worker was working on her personal project. Another was working with the wool; she rolled her eyes and turned her back to us as we approached for assistance. No thanks. I took my money and spent it at Helping Hands, Lone Star Quilt Shop, and Millers Dry Goods. If you don't want to take care of your customers there are others who will. read more
