This is a general observation, and of course the merchandise changes regularly. But it seems to me the smaller clothing size you wear and the smaller your shoe size, the better luck you will have in scoring some clothing bargains. My jackpot today was furniture. I purchased a brand new Fleur de lis lamp that I picked up for $75. It had a price tag of $139 hanging on it, and I also found the same lamp, same make on the Web for as high as $179. Let's just say I'm thrilled. It's a gorgeous lamp. The other bargain I scored was a vintage, French Country accent chair. It is gently used, but it is gorgeous and it was only $50. There is a slight stain on the seat cushion, but it is barely noticeable. I love the chair and it was a true bargain. The prices on the furniture were almost too low to be believed. She and her husband are the owners. I was stunned at how many beautiful quilts, throws, and other things they had. Now, if you're looking for authentic Amish-made quilts, I don't believe she carries those. I've recently become infatuated with beautiful quilts and would like an Amish-made one eventually. But until I decide on the one I want, I'm going with a less costly, still very nice variation of an Amish quilt. Jean carries all types: American flag quilts, traditional Amish looking quilts, ring quilts, etc. I will go back and get some more pictures. I previously bought another quilt from a place down the street from here which cost me more! Wish I had known about this place first....but still ended up buying a lovely quilt here! I highly recommend this place! It's great for birthday, anniversary, Christmas, new baby, whatever the occasion! I can't wait to go back!!
