Everyone is friendly and the trainers are excellent. I hadn't been working out since I had my toddler during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I was so nervous about keeping up with workouts. Fortunately, other members have been super supportive and the trainers are always willing to help me make modifications as I get up to speed. The facilities are super clean and I'm always greeted by someone at the desk. The showers look great for those who need them after class and I am glad to know there's daycare when I need it. The classes are full, but it's never felt crowded. The playlists keep me entertained and make the workouts go quickly.

I like Power Performance for the coaching (which challenges you while scaling to accommodate your limitations), the community (a lot of nice people), and a very positive environment. The two owners (Larry and Alicia, a married couple) take pride in their business and both coach classes regularly. This is not an intimidating place; it is friendly and encouraging. I was intimidated to try CrossFit again, but I shouldn't have been about Power Performance! I've noticed that people from other gyms who "drop-in" to work out always have positive things to say about this gym. In the beginning, I did "on-ramp" with Larry, which is series of sessions to teach you the exercises you need to participate in class. I didn't need all the on-ramp sessions due to the bit of weight lifting I had done, and I moved into regular classes and was off and running. Since then, I've gotten stronger, more flexible, and made some new friends. This gym is a part of the community and participates in things like food drives and has social events. When the gym had to close for COVID, they loaned out their equipment to their membership. When the gym comes up in conversation with friends, I always recommend Power Performance!

Gym is about 5 mins away from my house and I decided to join. I just found out they are canceling my membership because my bf got in argument with a man over equipment. And I had nothing to do with , matter of fact I was in a different part of the gym minding my business. Man that took his spot was super rude ,instead of saying that he is still using equipment he acted entitled and sat on top of it before letting my bf know he was still using it. He was working out on 2 diff.machines far from each other Obviously someone will take your spot if you're not there and all you got to do is ask. Since it turned out into verbal argument his brother was there too and my bf came up to his brother to apologize and explain the situation of why he was mad. To which his brother cut him off and said " I don't give a fucking fuck , you know what, Fuck you! " Owner Curt calls my bf a day later and tells my bf it's all good as long as there is no further arguments he is ok , and to stay away from each other he just wanted to reach out and hear his part of the story . Today he gets a call with a voicemail saying his and my memberships are canceled. what a joke of a place Anyway since I'm not envolved in argument I will say this Water filter has been out ever since I've joined It's actually against regulations and makes you sick if you drink it. I've been going to the gym for years. Heard plenty of complaints about the owner but never had any…read moreissues. The other day however changed things and I cant give this guy my business anymore. First impressions last a really long time with me. This new guy came into the gym and I literally watched the owner follow him around the gym and tell him over and over again that the gym closes at 7. He also was standing in his way making for awkward moments of him having to say "excuse me" while looking at him all confused wondering why the owner and his dog is in his face. He handled it well until it was time to leave. Then the owner decided to talk to him like he was stupid because he didnt know where the exit was since the owner had told him he couldnt use the one he did know about. Thats when the new guy got pissed. Asked him what he did for him to treat him so badly. Of course, the owner had no reason to treat him like that so the owner started lying about what he said. Then the guy asked him if he had some stress he needed to work out and if he wanted to roll with him to take out his anger. Of course the owner refused and told him to go to planet fagness. After witnessing such an unprofesssional demeanor from the owner I cant give him my business. No one should. There are plenty of much better gyms in the area and you dont have to worry about the owner following you around and harrassing you.
