This is a very well maintained gym. I tend to go very late and the staff member is very nice and always cleaning. The day staff is also extremely nice and welcoming. The equipment is all in great shape and very well maintained. I really like the Hammer Strength inclined smith machine. As a biomedical engineer I recognize the intent of the seven degree angle is not just to give variety but is better for joint safety. For example in the free weight bench press the bar is pressed from over the lower chest to a finish point over the face. The articulating bones move on that seven degree angle. I have only been in here to use the tanning beds as I go during my 30 minute lunch brea but compared to other PF locations this one is so nice. The staff are always so polite and attentive. It is always super clean in the foyer, the changing rooms and the tanning beds too. I go to workout at a different PF nearer to my house after work and it's no where near as nice as this one. read more

Starting to get a little disappointed by the way they are maintaining the gym. I just see the workers standing at the front desk talking. Why is no one walking through sporadically cleaning the machines??? We wipe them down as customers after each use , but why aren't employees maintaining the cleanliness of the space? I am noticing half the time the don't have hand sanitizer at the cleaners stations. I just asked a young lady at the counter for a new bottle because one was missing at the cleaning station where I was working out at. I was told they would get one to me and they never did. After waiting 5 minutes for it, I eventually had to swipe one from another cleaning station. She and her other coworkers never even assisted! Employee was rude when telling my brother he couldn't wear crocs. We weren't aware of this so my brother wore crocs, and when the employee came up to us he had a rude, loud, tone and attitude. I understand if it's apart of the policy, but he could've been nicer, instead of being rude. read more

I'm a new member only been with PF for 2.5/mo. This is how I was welcomed to Planet Fitness. Is it acceptable to call a 24hr PF Gym and receive no answer after Choosing all options given? Is it normal to wait in line for your time to be addressed and say you need assistance with blah blah blah and the response given (no smile or greeting) rolls their eyes, walks away and checks 4 other clients in gives direction to a drink vendor while you're still standing at the counter with no clue to why you were ignored. Is it normal to be asked why you need said assistance then tell you that what you asking for can be done only if my reasoning is valid**e.g. is medical or military.**(although you'd rather keep it private) you tell the representative why you need this assistance and why you drove up to the gym( not answering the phone + online requirements direct you to visit a physical location) only to receive "you have to speak with my GM, and that's 9am. I'm sorry but if the first thing I tell you is I need help with xyz and you know you can only do abc THEN WHY DID I JUST SUFFER THROUGH THIS UNNECESSARY NONSENSE. I MUST BE CONFUSED. My family and I have been members at this location for years. We Love it here. During covid everyone had masks on and it was plenty of cleaning supplies all around. Staff is young and friendly and always available for help. Members here are nice as well! read more

I hope the management and by that I mean the district managers pay a visit and or view cameras because y'all are basically paying employees around the early 2am shifts to literally be MIA. I was just at the gym for 2 hours and not a single employee was there. Doors unlocked, no one at the front desk, no one watching the place , nothing. This planet fitness is a very nice one. From the moment that you walk into the door you're greeted with a smile. Not only is the customer service on point, but the equipment is pretty nice and up to date as well. All of their machines are on good working condition and they even have a few more machines that I haven't seen at several other planet fitness gyms. I'm currently also a member at the brick anytime fitness & HOTWORX yoga for the past year and have not had as many problems as I have with this planet fitness location within the first week of joining membership. Came to this location because of the pricing and I thought my daughter would enjoy it. Everything went fine when I signed up as a member but I signed my daughter up as a member. They gave her the wrong membership and overcharged me. I have went in person and made phone calls every single day this week and left messages with assistant, managers, and Spoke with Diana, Bailey, Joe, Marcus, and hopefully next Kyler the regional manager if these people cannot help me. All I want to know is why I was overcharged and why my daughter was given the wrong membership and not one person has been able to answer that or resolve this for me. read more

STAY AWAY FROM PLANET FITNESS! This location is an absolute joke from top to bottom, calling it a 3 ring circus would be to polite. My membership was cancelled for no apparent reason by the manager who I never spoke to over complaints I made about the many things wrong with this place. Very unprofessional and I'm kinda glad as this is the only way they'll stop billing my bank (apparently you can't cleanly end your annual membership without paying a $50 fee!) for a fraud fitness operation. But if you have muscles and want a lap dance by their fitness trainers while working out this is the place for you. read more

I love this place! First gym I have ever walked in to and honestly did not feel judged, I felt lIke a normal person trying to achieve her healthy goals. I approached staff for not trying to intrude or sell me something. I was given straight facts and I thought when I walked in I was going to get a good deal based off the commercial. But WOW, just WOW, the associate said they had an even better one that just started. Who does that? I mean, they could have gotten more money from me but they wanted to do what was best for the client. Mad props to this staff and team. Only thing negative I might say is trying to call them when not in person. This may not have to do with the location but the franchise themselves, but trying to get a hold of someone to just ask a question is very difficult. This is got to be one of the most incredible fitness places I have attended and believe me I have tried a lot. Clean, friendly, open 24 hours, and The staff is so great. The best part of my time there is getting out what I put into it. The trainer is amazing. If it weren't for taking my classes and listening to her instruction I would not be getting the strength nor the toned body that I was looking for. 3 weeks in and I like the gym. The parking lot is a bit small and now there's construction going on which makes it even smaller. The staff is friendly and the gym, locker rooms are always clean. Plenty of treadmills, ellipticals and machines. It does get busy between 5-7 so be prepared. I've read over the rules and seen some broken already, not a big deal, but if they're going to make you sign a contract stating no jeans or muscle tank tops, I kinda don't expect to see those in the gym. read more

My family and I are member's of planet fitness for around a year now and we were going to cancel soon, because we do not use it enough to pay for it. But today we were shocked to see that we have a charge for 3 accounts that add up to over $80, without informing us. So called the main 888 number listed and waited on the phone for an hour to talk with someone, for them to tell us "That is a service fee per account" I said, why did I not get a notification email or anything on the app, saying it was upcoming? The service member then said. "Well you signed a letter when you signed up that said you would be charged on this date a year ago, but to avoid the charges all you had to do was cancel before the 25th then you would not be charged" I explained to them how would we know the cut off date, if we didn't know that was the option? they then said "I am not sure" ... overall, for my family and I we will be cancelling and moving forward. I mainly wanted to share this to tell anyone that is signing up with Planet Fitness that you better set calendar reminders and notifications so you will not forget about the paper you signed a year prior, about the dates on when the service fee will be taken out each year and any other information you need. Because, unfortunately PF will make sure you have an email reminder that you checked in to workout and will send a reminder on the points you earned to use at the PF shop, but they will not send any reminders or notification on the fees they will be taking out or any other charges at any time. read more

I have wanted out of my gym membership for about nine months. I was told I had to finish out the year. The year is nearly over so I tried to go in and cancel, and I was informed there is a $60 charge at the end. Why??? Why was I not told that there would be a $60 charge for stopping the membership. This place is always crowded and the workers are never actually doing anything. Every time I come in there is either a large group of people just standing around talking or nobody to be seen. They advertise that it's a judgement free zone but it's not by any means. The tanning beds always seem to have some kind of grimy film on them and the buttons never work.
