I went to EOS for 1 week and their personal coach instead of acknowledge the fact that all I wanted to do was to leave the house after several months of isolation and excessive eating disorder her goal was to make me feel terrible her name (Britney in Goodyear) instead not satisfied told me that I have failed in the past and would fail again if I didn't sign for their personal coaching program. I had to verbally state that she was giving me anxiety when she continue to bully me asking if money was a problem. 2 months later I gave a change again this time when to mountainside fitness in Avondale and Alyssa their personal training welcomed me in measure my weight taught me new moves and told me I'll be here and will keep an eye on your and hold you accountable despite of you not signing in for trainer. Why I am sharing this? To thank mountainside for their greatness. Not every person is seeking for six pack. Some are there to battle depression, compulsive behaviors and others so thank you for being so amazing. I love your gym no matter what side of town I go

I wasn't told to arrive early and walked out after the receptionist didn't want to help me despite my reservation- she would not allow me to go to the class.. What a waste of time. The sauna room door has been dragging and difficult to open and close for at least 6 months now. I've mentioned it multiple times, but nobody seems too concerned about it. Right now it's more of an annoyance, but if it continues to get worse, it could easily become a safety issue. At that point the sauna will probably have to be shut down completely for repairs that could have been handled much earlier. The gym itself is decent, but management needs to be more proactive about maintenance before small issues turn into bigger problems.

The problems are not being addressed... The better part of February and March it has been closed down several times, the reasons are never clear when provided by the staff. The whirlpool has basically one good jet that really gives you a lot of relief where it counts. The rest of the jets are basically bubbles coming out of the wall water under pressure, it's not the kind of pressure you need after a good workout. There are other places like the YMCA & others, which have better facilities, newer equipment we have choices. Please do something with the system you have existing at LA fitness in Goodyear.

I was nervous to get back in shape and I haven't worked out with in years, Zach went over everything with me so I would know what to expect and he did an assessment. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Whenever an exercise became to difficult he knew exactly what modification would help me push through and finish. Zach is very kind and soft spoken with a really positive relaxing energy, but he will push you to do your best. I will definitely be a regular client and would recommend him to anyone.

It's definitely on the more affordable gym side, but they've packed in a lot of amenities you don't always see at this price point. It was busy when I visited, but overall it stayed pretty clean and well maintained, which I always appreciate in a high-traffic gym. What stood out most was the variety: warm yoga classes (around mid-80s temp -- not hot yoga but comfortable), a dedicated Group X studio, cycle room, turf training area, plenty of machines and free weights, plus trainers available if that's your thing. They also have childcare, which is a huge plus for parents. Recovery-wise, they go beyond basics -- sauna in the locker rooms, showers, changing areas, zero-gravity massage chairs, compression equipment (though a couple seemed to have issues), massage guns, and even a cinema-style cardio setup. Bonus points for shakes, retail swag, and just having multiple spaces so the gym never feels one-note.
