Awesome customer service i think it was Isaac not sure all i know made me feel appreciated

I have been a member of EOS for several years and have always had a positive relationship with multiple staff members at this location. Unfortunately, my recent experience with John, the Operations Manager, was extremely concerning and completely inconsistent with the level of professionalism and customer service I have come to expect from EOS. During my recent visit with my family, I felt that we were racially profiled and unfairly targeted by John. Rather than approaching the situation professionally or respectfully, we were met with hostility and accused of theft and failing to follow the facility's sign-in procedures. These are extremely serious accusations to make against a paying member and their family. What makes the situation even more concerning is that, after making these accusations, John was able to verify that all of us had properly signed in and had followed the required procedures. At that point, I would have expected an acknowledgment of the mistake and, at minimum, a sincere apology. Instead, there was no meaningful attempt to de-escalate the situation, take accountability, or address how inappropriate the interaction had been. Being falsely accused of theft is serious enough, but having this happen in front of my family and feeling that we were singled out based on our race made the experience particularly upsetting and unacceptable. The manner in which this was handled was highly unprofessional, hostile, and completely inappropriate for someone serving in an operational management position. I have supported EOS for several years and have had positive experiences with the staff, which is why this incident was especially disappointing. I believe this matter warrants serious review by EOS management, including an investigation into how this interaction was handled and whether appropriate policies and expectations regarding member treatment, racial profiling, and false accusations were followed. I am not simply raising a complaint about poor customer service. I am raising a serious concern about how I and my family were treated, the accusations made against us, and the lack of accountability after those accusations were proven to be unfounded. read more

EōS Fitness -- Big amenities, approachable price point EōS Fitness ended up being a really solid surprise. It's definitely on the more affordable gym side, but they've packed in a lot of amenities you don't always see at this price point. It was busy when I visited, but overall it stayed pretty clean and well maintained, which I always appreciate in a high-traffic gym. What stood out most was the variety: warm yoga classes (around mid-80s temp -- not hot yoga but comfortable), a dedicated Group X studio, cycle room, turf training area, plenty of machines and free weights, plus trainers available if that's your thing. They also have childcare, which is a huge plus for parents. Recovery-wise, they go beyond basics -- sauna in the locker rooms, showers, changing areas, zero-gravity massage chairs, compression equipment (though a couple seemed to have issues), massage guns, and even a cinema-style cardio setup. Bonus points for shakes, retail swag, and just having multiple spaces so the gym never feels one-note. Overall it gave me upgraded Planet Fitness / Chuze vibes: accessible, amenity-rich, friendly staff, and solid value without boutique pricing. Not luxury fitness, but honestly a great option if you want variety and affordability in one place. Plus, they've got lots of locations, which makes consistency easy if you travel or bounce around town. read more

Okay so I will begin by saying that I am rating this location solely on the etiquette of the dumbbell users (and the number of dumbbells). Where I'm from, I have learned that dumbbell users are inconsiderate and sometimes downright rude. Most of my workouts having to do with chest and arms are spent at the rack. Maybe it's my OCD but it really bothers me when the weights are not where they are supposed to be. I end up racking everyone's weights because they were just too important to put them back where they got them. In California, no gym has great rack etiquette. There's always that dude that leaves his weights lying around or puts their dumbbells in the nearest open slots. Here at EoS, their dumbbells go all the way to 150! That is awesome!!! The highest 24 Hour Fitness has is 125 and that a rarity. 95% only go to 120. Also, they have more than two sets of several of the weights. Anyway, here at EoS, on the two days I came here, every weight is where it should be. I watched the people and without fail, they always returned them to the correct spot. I've been a member here for several years. It's always clean and there's plenty of equipment but it can get really crowded at time, I avoid those times. My only complaint is that they allow people to sir on machines for long periods I understand taking short breaks between sets, but I often see people texting and just looking at their phones while sitting on a machine. Why the staff doesn't discourage this, I don't know. Rudeness and selfishness is the norm I guess. It didn't used to be like that. read more

I have been a loyal EOS member since 2017 and have enjoyed it. I recently transferred to this location for distance reasoning. Please listen to the reviews because the staff here is extremely unprofessional and rude. I will be continuing to talk to hire ups because of the service I received. I have had the worst experience with this location and its terrible customer service, especially with the OM, Isaac. I've seen on past reviews there has already been a couple complaints about him, but his lack of empathy and poor professionalism was disappointing. He was very dismissive and wasn't helpful at all, when asked for someone else we can talk to he was very reluctant to give us a contact. He did everything to not provide us with any information. This Eos location is incredibly popular, and for good reason! I have gone to multiple Eos locations throughout AZ and can say that this is definitely the best one that I have been to. This location is HUGE and has everything you'd need and more. There is even a calisthenics gym and heavy bag, which I am so excited about! The locker rooms/bathrooms (well, I can only speak for the Women's facilities) are huge too! Of the times that I have visited, the whole gym has been kept cleanly and I have never had any issues. I had the worst experience at this EŌS the manager Stephanie was a bitch. I couldn't enjoy my workout her and the staff didn't even know there own policies and were very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. Don't ever come to this EOS unless you want problems. it took about 30 minutes to scan in because they were having "problem" finding the account when I've clearly been to another EOS and had no problem with my account. read more

I wish I could give a zero. Management was so horrible with my cancelation process that it lasted 5 months and I had to pay a RIDICULOUS amount of money to get the issue resolved. Please train your employees to be more effective in their costumer service. I wish they would have communicated with me the first time and even the second time we spoke over the phone early on how I could've dealt with the issue sooner. read more

Bait and switch. It's an arm and a leg to be able to workout yet when you cancel they are unprofessional, write your cancellation code on the back of a solicitation, and then get incredibly aggressive when you're frustrated with their informal procedures. I had two people team up because they didn't know how to handle a frustrated guest. Isaac and the other dude with glasses and long hair, both children tryin to do an entry level job. They didn't honor my request of speaking to the general manager who actually helped and has a level of professionalism attached to his work ethic. Basically if you choose to come here You'll be dealing with children, broken equipment, dysfunctionally packed gym, jam packed classes and child care that is a joke. Go to planet fitness instead. Overall, it is a good gym that is the standard global franchise gym setup. My only gripe would be with the wine mom booty builder machines taking up space. Get that crap out of there and put in legit hack squats and glute equipment. read more

I am currently visiting the area and needed a reliable gym. I met with Ben and immediately was taken care of. Signing up was an easy process and he was extremely helpful. I want to give this place a -10. I've tried on multiple occasions to cancel my membership here. It took me 3 months to cancel personal training and now 6 months to cancel my monthly membership. Multiple conversations, multiple messages left for managers to return calls, even calling the 888# is useless. Make sure these people document all your conversations well because if you tell them over the phone you want to cancel a membership and the person you spoke to didn't document it. It didn't happen. They robbed me. The manager that no longer works at this facility transferred and they wanted me to track him down myself to talk to him about the conversation that we had over 6 months ago. Zero customer service from the general manager, to the people who work at the front desk. The struggle and frustration with this place.... This facility is super small. Gets overly crowded. At times can be hot . Muggy humid air, so bad it makes you wanna vomit. Machines are old and dirty. Machines that are always breaking. Not enough weights and machines. Lay out doesn't flow. Music sucks. You pay for what you get. 9.99/ month for a below average facility. There are better options in the area. read more

Nice Facility A friend took me to EOS with a buddy pass, and i was really impressed. All the machinery is kept in great working condition, never seen worn out padding like some other gyms, I have visited. What I really appreciated therecwas enough disinfectant sprays to wipe down the equipment, and best of all, this gym is open 24/7, so you can go at off-peak hours to avoid the crowd. The staff was welcoming, operational hours are great, and the cost is wallet friendly. read more

I wanted to try this gym for one month before having my insurance cover a new membership and was clearly told the cost would be $29/mo + $1 sign up fee, then was charged $80. I live on Soc. Sec only, and would never have agreed to that. The extra $50 is explained as an annual fee which is mentioned in the fine print of their paperwork, but was never mentioned to me during the 90 minute in person sign up visit. I've been going to this gym for a while, and honestly, it used to be a decent spot, but lately, I can't stand going there, especially at night. The staff is incredibly rude and condescending--it's like they go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. I get that gyms can be busy, but the way they treat members is unacceptable. Instead of being helpful, they're snarky and seem like they're bothered by any questions or concerns. It's gotten to the point where I dread my evening workouts because of how unpleasant the atmosphere is. I don't know if it's just the night crew, but the vibe completely changes once the sun goes down. It's a shame because during the day, the place is fine, but I can't keep dealing with the awful attitude from the staff. If you're planning to work out at night, seriously reconsider--this gym is not worth it. (mainly the women that works up front at night) read more

I'm writing this to tell you how incredible the kids care is at this location, specifically with two of the employees that we had exceptional experiences with.Micaela and Victoria. They go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of the kids and engaging with the parents, my two-year-old daughter absolutely loves them. She looks forward to doing arts and crafts and watching some of her favorite movies with them.All the staff there is very well trained, very professional and exceptional as far as child care. It's really nice because at the end of every visit, they usually give them a sticker or a small piece of candy.Micaela and Victoria also are very encouraging when it comes to my son, who sometimes struggles to go to kids care. He's autistic and sometimes it's too much stimulation for him and they are very understanding and very caring and they often ask how he's doing and tell me they miss him when he doesn't come. Little things like that make me feel so good as a parent to know they truly care about our children at daycare. I have never had a bad experience at this childcare. We look forward to our workouts at the gym, but our daughter also looks forward to seeing her teachers (Micaela and Victoria)and having a great time. read more

This location is okay but I'm not really pleased with the continuous lack of customer service at night. I come in around 1-2am every other night and every time I've come in, there's a hispanic guy that stays at the front that is either playing video games or just sitting around doing nothing. Whenever I go to get a paper towel to clean a machine, nothing's filled and the weights that I want to use are nowhere to be found. Really not tryna be that person but it's just annoying to not see a change. read more

Gym haven, or gym heaven? Both descriptions are applicable. I felt immediately comfortable at this gym. Their equipment is top notch. They have an outdoor section. What could be better than exercising while getting some sun? They even have a pool and whirlpool. The front desk people are very knowledgeable and helpful. This place is the best! read more

Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware - Sketchy Staff & Business Practices I would give zero stars if possible. This location, and I am sure EOS Fitness in general, has extremely poor customer service and business practices. Be extremely careful in dealing with them in particular with this location. The short version of the story is that I went into the location on a Sunday with my 14-year-old son to sign him up for a trial membership. The supposed GM (Ben) tells us - good news we can sign both of you up for a free one-month trial today. They never give you a contract to review either in paper or electronically and Ben, along with all his colleagues, are very careful about what is disclosed. I intended to cancel mine anyway, but my son wanted a membership. And it would be simple right? Then Ben asks, 'Does your son know how to use the equipment' He is 14 of course he doesn't so Ben suggests a 'special deal' where for $19.99 for two weeks you can sign up for a personal trainer who will show you how to use the equipment. 'If you don't like it just cancel within two weeks' were the exact words used... if you keep the personal training it is a four-month commitment at $350 a month - $1,400. Sounds good right? He will learn how to use the equipment and I can just cancel before the end of two weeks. Words that were NEVER used during the sales process or provided electronically or in writing were 'RECESSION PERIOD' which is apparently either three days or five days depending on which 'team member' you ask. If you don't cancel in this time you are on the hook apparently even though this was not disclosed and the contract was not provided for review. My son schedules his first session for three days later. I drop him off on a Wednesday for his session only to find out that the trainer has not come into work and there is no one to assist - so he is left to work out on his own. Come Friday (Five Days Later) - I go in to cancel the PT sessions and let them know - hey no one showed up and we don't want this. And guess what... 'Oh you can't do that, oh I will need the approval of my manager, come back on Monday' - I return on Monday and I am told by Ben and his manager that this has been removed from the account and that I will be reimbursed the $19.99 and any other charges for the PT. Guess what? Two charges come on my CC for the $19.99 and for $150 so I dispute the charges figuring it will get sorted out UNTIL a collections letter comes in the mail and they have no record of this being cancelled!! Shocking. So, another trip to the gym where I discuss with 'Isaac' the situation AGAIN and he says he can't help and gives me a card with a QR code - are you serious? I'm not paying ONE CENT for this. I want a call or an email from the REGIONAL MANAGER for EOS to discuss and clear this up. NEVER GO TO EOS FITNESS!! read more

Arguably the worst gym I've ever been to. As a former GM of a Golds gym, I've been around the gym industry for over 8 years. I have never experienced such a poorly managed/owned gym than this EOS. Broken equipment goes unnoticed or unfixed and the gym as a whole is filthy. There is assumed risk at any gym you go to. You can hurt yourself doing almost anything. However, when dumbbell racks are broken and a dumbbell rolls off the rack and hurts someone, Eos is liable and negligent. Bruised my thumb today trying to put the 80LB dumbbells back into the rack, with that rack being broken they rolled off to the side and crushed my thumb. I've been letting a lot of things slide because this gym is dirt cheap however it's clear management/ownership doesn't care enough about their gym or customers. read more

On 25 June 2023, in EOS at Dysart and Thomas Road, was another day without shower gel in the dispensers!! It seams petty to some, but some patrons go in early shower then go on with their day. I advised an employee that there was no soap, he stated that he was told not to replenish unless it was it was completely empty but the same stalls were depleted and some were aImost, since Thursday as shower gel ran out on me and I had to search the other 5 stalls for soap. A full 4 days later and there was no gel! He refilled 1 stall and that was all. I them spoke to another employees about the continual situation. I was aggravated at EOSs practices, allowing patrons to improperly use equipment damaging it but to won't afford partons shower gel!! This new assistant maintenence manager takes it to interject himself without hearing the entire conversation. He gets offensive, "stating why was yelling  at his employees?"! I indicate "I'm loud so what", he tells me to "get the fuck out"!!! I loose it.. he threatens to me with call police I advised go right ahead!! I then with one of the staff go into the locker room and the cleanliness check list was dated 22 June 2023!!! According to EOS rules the locker room had not be clean checked or service in 3 days!!! I put the cleanliness check sheet on the desk an stated to the manager, to make sure you right before you stand on your high ground!! Was the situation got blown out of proportions but not once was this "manager" attempt to resolve this situation nor did he do anything to understand it either. read more

I enjoy this Gym, the people are personable, welcoming and not too salesy like I've experienced with some gyms that offer the variety of Amenities that EoS offers. Id specifically like to acknowledge Nadiah for being a great trainer. She has exceeded my expectations. I'm a 27 year old male, about 50 lbs over weight and there is no doubt In my mind she'll continue pointing me in the direction to a successful body weight and fitness level. read more

I've been a member for about 7 months now and so far have loved the location for the amount of equipment and spaciousness available for workouts. When the gym reopened after the covid lockdown there was a billing error that was charging me $20 instead of the $10 for the basic membership for 4 months, but when I realized it and brought it up to staff, Ross Adams really helped me out by providing free blue membership for a few months to makeup for the mistake. All was fixed within 15 minutes and he reassured me that if anything else were to come up, just bring it up to staff and they would work with me. I really appreciate it since I haven't had the best experiences with gyms and billing before. The staff are friendly, attentive and prompt to assist when a member needs it. read more

When joining EOS Fitness several moths ago I was informed if I ever needed to pause my account I could do so at no charge and no reinstatement costs when I returned. I am now being harassed by both EOS Fitness and their collection service, ABC collections requesting a past due balance of $60 plus dollars for the $5 per month to have the account paused during the COVID pandemic. First the pandemic has not been long enough at $5 month to add up to $60. Second I was told there was no cost to pause the account. I'm more than irritated that I was lied to and now being harassed daily. They've told me the fees will be waived and the account closed only to get a call the next day again. They refuse to send me an email or notification bits resolved, but say it is. I can't receive these calls daily while at work any longer and will apparently need to seek legal action. I planned to return at some point, now I recommend to everyone to avoid EOS Fitness read more
