I have lived all over the world and currently still have homes in a number of places, Puerto Rico being one of them. So all that meant to say, I've used a LOT of gyms and trainers. What's unique about Armando is he customizes the workouts to your age, stage and body. He also goes the extra mile to stretch you and work on problem areas. He's very knowledgable, personable and motivating. He also is a good example of fitness, flexibility and lifestyle. Don't let the lack of machines or bar bells rack you out. I promise you'll leave there sweating your ass off and seeing results and importantly setting new goals and feeling better about yourself. Client for life (when I'm here).

HCOA NEVER have enough wipes to clean equipment. The Yoga class it's the worst ever unless you like "sleepy yoga" the staff is not there to help u unless you pay for their service xtra $. No water refill bottle station jut a regular water fountain...hope it got a filter ...maybe. But the worst is not WIFi and your phone might not get service so I had to change phone carriers. During the lockdown #hcoa charged my card. A positive note, people are very nice and are willing to share tips n encourement but staff let them know their disapproval. #hcoa it's just a gym with air-conditioning.

I was skeptical when I first explored it and tried it out before joining. But let me tell you why this gym is a stellar option for you: Owners Edwin and his wife Berenice are the nicest people (and extremely good looking) and are always striving to make the gym a better place for everyone. I have frequented the gym at every hour of the day and you will always find Edwin interacting with his guests -- he is very popular because he stops and gives you workout tips to train and improve. Their classes of Zumba, Boot Camp, and Spinning are always busy and the instructors eager to take it to the next level. They have free weights (dumbbells and barbells), cable gear, machine presses, TRX, Kettle Bells, Swiss balls, medicine balls, plank boards, ropes, ladders, and the list goes on and on. Personal Trainers like David are always dedicated to their clients' needs and coming super early or staying late. Members are very friendly and bond with each other quickly -- it's like you're working out with family! They have super long hours for such a reasonable membership fee (which incidentally has NO contract) --- opening up at 5am and staying open till 9pm. They even have a bar area where they sell pre-workout drinks, protein shakes, bottled water, Gatorade / Powerade, and the like. The gym also sells athletic apparel which is actually really hip and trendy and fitted.

I don't reside in Puerto Rico and the management knew this when I sign up for a non-commitment (which they basically trick me in signing) which states that I can cancel 3 days after I pay and sign. Took me 3 weeks for them be able to assist me in the cancellation. And they had the balls to tell me that since there was no proof of them not being able to assist me I needed to pay an extra month which I am not going to be using the facilities. I ask them as a courtesy of 2 weeks for another month for when I come back on Vacation and they say NO. I ended paying around $360 for a month of workout. Completeeeeeeeeeeee Rip Off. LIV has a bad reputation of doing this! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!

I have been trying to cancel my membership for almost 6 weeks without a response. Today, I have called twice to Guaynabo and once to Condado and there has been no answer. I wrote to Sasha in the Guaynabo office twice and no answer as well. I moved to Spain two months ago and it is very frustrating to not be able to get ahold of anyone and cancel this membership. As much as I would like to recommend this place, I just can't. The business practices are super dishonest.
