What's unique about Armando is he customizes the workouts to your age, stage and body. He also goes the extra mile to stretch you and work on problem areas. He's very knowledgable, personable and motivating. He also is a good example of fitness, flexibility and lifestyle. Don't let the lack of machines or bar bells rack you out. I learned improvements to some exercises I have been doing for years. I've only been going for three weeks, and I already see noticeable changes in myself. Cardio includes roughly 42 treadmills, 4 stair climbers, recumbent bikes, upright Bikes, ellipticals, and arc trainers. There is a side room that is sometimes closed off for "30 minute workouts", another side room with more equipment and a back side room which is also sometimes closed for very beginner level "personal workout sessions" with a trainer. There are plenty of stationary weight machines throughout the gym. There are 4 smith machines that I wish weren't locked on an angle. They also have some free weight dumbbells. If you have a black card the gym offers tanning, haircuts, and two different massage chairs. There is a male and female locker room with lockers, showers, and toilets. Overall I enjoy coming to this gym on a daily basis. There are times when the gym feels dirty, whether it's people leaving paper towels all over the place or dust/ hair/ broken acrylic nails on the ground. Other times I get annoyed when it's 45-60 minutes before closing time and the employees start turning off lights and turning off TVs.

This planet fitness is located in Rexville Center which means free parking and feels much safer in this area. It's right next to K-mart. Cons: smells plastic when you walk in but it dies down after a while. No classes , no pool, no jacuzzi or steam room.
