They do a lot of snorkeling classes here and it gets crowded in the water, fast. However, we did have fun snorkeling ourselves and got to see some fun, colorful fish and a turtle. The water wasn't super clear so you couldn't see too far down clearly. I really like how much there is around here. You can chill on the beach, chill on the grass, walk and get food, or see other sites. It is a nice location that is very walkable.

A lot of people walk, run, cycle along the trail which is attached alongside the ocean coast. The beach is organized with a nice layout. Parking is close. Places to sit and take in the scenery. You can easily find the place to rent chairs and umbrella if you want. Or you can bring your own chair and sit under the palm trees for shade. Or just lay out and relax. What I like about this beach is that they put up a long row of rocks to break the strong waves. So, you can go out really far and the water is not deep. You can more wade in the water or float. I came during hurricane season, so there were some strong waves crashing, but luckily the rocks kept things safe. I did not notice any restaurants, food stands, nor people selling anything. But I also came during the low peak season so it was chill. Still a lot of people relaxing at the beach. Loved this beach.

As long as 15 people are on the tour, they will take you to your Calebra. If less than 15 you stay local! There were well over 15 so we were able to tour Calebra. It was so beautiful! Once you get there, they pick you up on a ferry to take you to the boat . The boat travels for about an hour before getting to a private island and that is where you get the guided snorkeling or diving tour depending on what you selected! My friends and I did the snorkeling. As someone who can't swim (I know I know lol) I had a great time. The tour guides were very informative and helpful for all ages and swim levels. They do provide fruit, cold cut sandwiches and rum punch and when you stop . If you're looking for a "party" boat then this may not be for you. Don't expect lots of liquor and twerking etc it's a family type tour, Some of my friends were a bit disappointed by the price expecting that we'd stop somewhere that had a bar and restaurant but it was just a private island (we're in our high 20s low 30s). So idk I think it depends on your expectations but I was okay with everything and the service was great!

We were told we had to first buy and complete the course work through PADI and from There they would do the water/ dive sessions and compete the certification. The shop also gets a kick back from Padi as work since it makes u select a dive shop where ur course work is sent to. Once we complete the course work, we each reached out to the dive shop about 2 - 1 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule the dates and times for the water sessions. We did not receive any type of response back from the shop. We attempted to message on whatsup as requested but still did not receive a confirmation or any type of communication. We called down to the shop, where we were told to just text them. We again tried to text the shop but did not receive any response. We flew to San Juan and arrived and immediately went to the shop, we were told to text them and they would get back to us.. we asked directly if they had availability and we were told they would check and get back to us via text.... A day goes by, we attempt to call and no response.. fully we get a text saying they are fully committed...... This was without doubt the worst type of un-reliable customer service and a refusal to communicate.. I would not trust this dive shop or operation. They should never have told us to use to do the course work with their shop and then refuse to complete our certification. Luckily Scuba Dogs next door came to our rescue when we told them about the horrible customer service we received. Just be aware this shop will not be reliable.

Huge shoutout to Captain Tito, Eli, Adrian, Mathew, and Brian--this crew went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made sure my family and I were well taken care of. I never had an empty cup, lunch was delicious and on point, and they even took the time to teach guests the basics of snorkeling. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and having a great time. The boat was super clean, and the whole vibe was fun, welcoming, and relaxing. But after hanging out closer to the airport side, we got spoiled with the smooth sand and no rocks. Condado Beach is full of rocks so running or working out is a challenge if you're into beach workouts. The beach is public however the resorts do a decent job of curtailing the public patrons. We stayed at Stellaris for the last leg of our trip and the resort gave out wrist bands to ensure employees knew were guest. It was easy to get lounge chairs as they would see us walking from the hotel and the wrist band was a quick give away. If you're a resort guest you'll get towels. Other people who were on lounge chairs with no towels had either paid for the chairs and/or were staying at the cheaper hotels behind the resort. In summation, although the location is live and busy, the beach is not the best on the island but it does the job. Would likely not stay in the area again as this beach wasn't the most beautiful on the trip. When you come to an island, the beach is the most important part and should be the most beautiful place you are.
