Five men of color talking very loudly using the N-word nonstop for about an hour from 11 AM to 12 while I was there; approaching the pretty girls running them out no one at the front desk saying a word. And they were standing close to the front desk the free-weight area right outside of the front desk. Staff please follow your own policy and kindly say something next time. read more

Bad staff messes around constantly, nobody is ever at the front desk and when you ask for something they are almost always rude

Ryan Mikolaj is the regional manager of the Planet Fitness that I used to attend. In January, I was threatened by another person on site at the club. I immediately alerted the front desk and manager of the situation. The manager of the club (Angela, I do not know her last name) went in to the locker room to speak with the person. The person admitted to Angela the manager that they had in fact threatened me. Before I left I ensured with the staff that this person would be banned from the club. If they had said no, I would have called the police and filed a report, but since they said the other person would be banned I let it go. A month later the same person walks into the club. I go to the front desk and the person working calls Angela who let them know that she did NOT ban them. I filled out the member survey to get in contact with someone higher than Angela and Ryan Mikolaj contacted me. Ryan will also not do anything to ensure the safety of the members of the club because the other person "hasn't provided a statement" and there "isn't evidence" even though the manager directly spoke to the person who threatened me. He also then told me I needed to report it to staff which I also already immediately did. Ryan Mikolaj should not be in charge if safety of members is not a priority. The Planet Fitness Anti Harassment policy clearly states that this should not be tolerated. Angela and Ryan should both be fired. read more

Staff are nice enough. Manager is hilarious. If you were threatened you should have been able to handle your business like an adult, not run to the staff for help. The kid with the beard that sticks out at at 60 degree angle that walks around slowly staring at his phone and never works out. I can't even. The sight of him makes me angry. read more

I love the gym, it's spacious , Tuesday through Thursday is 24 hours but it also stays open until 9pm Friday's. But my biggest pet peeve about this place is the staff. There's only one that knows what's she is doing. The black girl with the dreads, she is on point with everything and she is very nice. But the rest of them can't even do something as simple as charge a customer every day for a can of celcius, when ever the girl is not here, I always have to go to the gas station to get a Red Bull and come back because the employee don't know how to charge customers with out asking for their phone numbers. My account is out dated with an old phone number and old card that I haven't updated. But I'm always ready with a a card in hand to make a payment and it fails every time because they don't know how to ring a charge with out using my account. So every time I leave to the gas station and come back with a Red Bull. Extremely inconvenient. They need better training. I just left again this morning to purchase a Red Bull at the gas station and came right back. read more

I was traveling through the area on business, it was convenient, clean, very large, the equipment was clean and in working condition, the employees were friendly and helpful. I also was very glad that they had many TVs to watch as I did cardio. read more

Recently Planet Fitness has allowed teens 14-19 in for free. I'm all for fitness but it has become a day care. These kids are camping out in equipment and it's always too busy. I have cancelled my membership after 8 years. read more

At times I do not sign in due to lines, or I have to use the restroom due to drinking coffee before my workout. one of the staff, Megan screamed at me to sign in, I said I would after I used the restroom. As I sat on the toilet urinating, she yelled "if you don't sign in you're kicked out." I said "I will but I'm using the BR. If you want to kick me out that's fine. I have a CClub membership too. I can go there"she said "fine that sounds like a plan" After signing in she threatened to kick me out again if I failed to use the app or stop and give my number. At no point did she speak to my husband in this manner. Afterwards my husband told her it was inappropriate to follow me into the restroom and threaten me. She denied threatening my membership. I confirmed she did and she then yelled "YOU'RE OUT I AM CANCELING BOTH OF YOU" the manager (Angie) started yelling that we need to sign in and became hostile as well. It's apparent these young kids lack the people skills and customer service to appropriately serve the public. Never have we experienced this type of hostility at a club. I feel like one of their subjects not a paying customer After leaving this feedback, Angie called saying She received the Feedback, further yelled at me and I asked what's the point of this call. She said to tell me (again?) that they have chosen to cancel our memberships. At no point did we request to be canceled. read more

Planet Fitness - Gyms Near Me - Hermitage, Pennsylvania

Hermitage PF is the largest gym in the valley, it's clean, the equipment is in good condition and there are a lot of workout options. I've found the staff to be nothing but friendly and knowledgeable. I frequently see staff sweeping, dusting, cleaning and filling dispensers. They work hard to keep the place looking and smelling clean. The tanning option is a self check in for the particular time you want to tan, you must have a black PF card to reserve your time slot. It seems non-gym users utilize the membership just for tanning but that means more equipment availability. By the way, I've never had to wait to use a piece of equipment. I've made an appt with the personal trainer a few times and have always found them friendly, nonjudgmental and very knowledgeable. I feel safe using the gym at any time of the day or night. The parking lot is well lit and the parking spaces are big. Most gym members will hold the door for you, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It's a gym for all ages and fitness levels. read more

Everything is mismanaged. Staff are all very, very overweight. This is not a "fat people are bad" thing, it just doesn't make you want to join a gym exactly. They're inconsistent on their return policies and will say basically anything to get your money. It's a mess. read more

The gym is great but these two workers Dillon and Kristine that are working now our absolutely rude and need to find another job. They don't ck ID and apparently you don't have to sign in to tan either. And they are training a new girl. Poor girl. First come first serve!!!!!. I have been here for three hours and signed in to sign like their policy states and follow their rules but apparently these two don't. I went to go tan at 1:22 and they told me that all beds were full. I asked how is that possible when I had the 120 slot. He then said you were late, I said by two minutes cause Kristine was explaining a bed to someone. He said O and to top it off Dillon and Kristine thought it was funny and couldn't stop laughing. And looked at me like it was my error. I still didn't get a sorry but was given a narkey comment instead. Apparently they don't follow the tanning schedule, ck ID or age restriction like their policy states. They give your time away since they do first come first serve in tanning. And no age restriction and no limit on the people you bring in too. Its free for all!!!! So if anybody just wants to come in tan and work out you can when these two are working. So glad I pay my membership every month!! read more
