This gym has gone downhill. Filthy!!! Staff is rude. Very disappointed in all aspects. It wasn't always like this but since management has changed hand several times over the past few years it has gotten worse. Considering going back to my old gym that was always clean. The only thing that keeps me here is a few of the class instructors. Stated tanning and booths don't work properly without bulbs and massive amount of hair stuck in fans, the room lighting is nonexistent in the booth and there is zero places to hang your belongings. Candy wrappers have been on the floor for a week. Cleaning stations are never filled properly, one cleaning station the paper towel holder isn't even on the wall anymore. As for the bathrooms also horrendous trash cans are not emptied. Regularly sinks are broken. Lockers are broken. read more

Gregory R is the regional manager. He is very rude. I canceled my Planet Fitness membership. He would not give me a refund on an annual fee I was not supposed to be charged. I called couple days before the timeline was due. They told me I had to come in to cancel, which is a dumb rule I couldn't make it in till a couple days later then I came in after said date and he still wouldn't give me, my annual fee back they charged me I was there a month and a half signed up for a summer pass with my daughter, which never said anything about the annual fee anyway. The fact that Planet Fitness wants to rob me for $49 when they're A million company and we're all struggling out here is a shame. I have been a member for many years starting in South Jersey. I joined again in Langhorne because I thought it was convenient to my home in Newtown. The facility has gone down in every area in the past few years. It is dirty, the hours were changed, it's unequipped and the staff is not very pleasant. I was there this evening at 7:30pm when they informed me the club was closing early at 8:00pm. I chose to quickly tan instead of doing my usual workout routine. When I was finished I went to naturally clean the bed. The spray bottle in room 7 wasn't working. I politely asked the staff if they could tell me if there were people before me who used the bed. The woman and I went in to room 7, she tried the bottle and it didn't work! I again asked the polite man at the desk if he could tell me how many people used the bed before me. The woman came from the back and said there was nothing wrong with the spray bottle. I must have been "holding " the bottle wrong???? Why would I waste my time, if I just wanted the bed cleaned? She originally said they were closing early because the air conditioning was broken, the polite man said they were having trouble keeping the gym cool. Shame on her, and the owners of this inferior Planet Fitness! read more

I am happy to be a member of planet fitness, and wanted to have the opportunity to bring a guest with me........ and then COVID happened. While I still want to remain a member of this gym, I wanted to downgrade to just my basic membership as I will not be bringing a guest or going to a gym outside of my home gym. After standing by the front desk, while the PF employee was FaceTiming on the further end of the desk completely disregarding anything that was going on or myself standing there I was finally asked "do you need something" .. At first I was told it would be $39 to downgrade, which I was willing to pay for because I don't see anything changing for me in the next few months.... and then upon checking I was told I was actually in a contract and it would cost almost 60 dollars to just bring me back to the basic plan... for a gym that advertises no contracts it seems like false advertisement to me. I'm in a contact I wasn't even aware of... I've been a member for years, and had no complaints prior to this. read more

After my complaint that I larged on Monday I must admit the local manager took it upon himself to immediately correct the problems. The men's room and locker room have been thoroughly cleaned and kept that way. The staff is actually going around to make sure the paper towels and cleaning fluids are stocked prior to the manager coming in. He also addressed the problems with the televisions. I appreciate the actions that this local manager took to correct the situation. Thank you! read more

New health issue been messing with my energy. My 5 am's are now 9am. That 5 miles that helped get me to and beyond my weight loss goal (148# down and not from the new issue yet) has been unreachable for almost a month. Time is slow but beats being unable to do it at all. The gym, lots of renovations that were really needed. Water heater being replaced today, water fountain been out of service for at least a week. No showers today limited locker room at least a week. On the other coast renovations were all done overnight, when it's least busy and completed in two days. Coping! The staff is awesome, I'm sure they didn't make renovation decisions! Been coming here for over a year and have yet to meet the GM. The 4 stars are earned by the employees, Rihanna and Mark are always so kind, helpful and are always keeping busy the entire time I'm here. Not a lot of smiles on any of the staff, that is typically a management issue. Happy employees in any service industry results in happy customers more often then not. Men's room always REEKS of urine. Toilets and floors in the restrooms are ALWAYS filthy. Paper towels and toilet paper are always empty, and if they're not empty, they're almost empty. The floors and equipments are always dusty and uncleaned, and if something is broken (urinal, toilet, gym equipment, etc..), it's out of order for weeks. For instance, the one urinal was "Out of order" for almost two months, and when they "fixed" it, they left a note above it saying "jiggle the handle". I know $20 isn't a lot, but with the thousands of members at this location, it's a bit insane for things to be managed like this. I've been a member of PF for over 10 years and generally I've enjoyed my experience as a member. But I have literally never been to a location that is this poorly maintained. read more

I have to say that I love Planet Fitness. There are a couple of things that irk me but overall this place is awesome. First off this place is clean. I mean i've been to other gyms like LA Fitness and local gyms and they are DIRTY. This place is definitely one of the cleanest gyms I've been to, no dirt on the floors, no trash laying around. It is awesome. The locker rooms are also very well kept and I only come in on by the evenings and it is still clean after all day. Another thing I enjoy is that there are tons of cardio equipment. I mean TONS of treadmills, tons of elliptical, and a few others. They do need more bikes but i dont use the bikes so i really don't complain... They have plenty of weight machines and they do also offer free weights which is good if you have a buddy. I enjoy the abs section which has a ton of abs equipment. The one thing i also really like is that the gym is also very well maintained. I mean if a machine is broke one day, it takes them like 2-3 days to fix it and its back in service. Not like some where it might be out for a few weeks. There are a few things that irk me though, the two water fountains that they have are for MIDGETS!! Honestly every person that goes there needs to kneel on the ground to drink from it. Its cool to have one accessible for the handicap, but don't make me uncomfortable and even make me prone to knee injuries because you need to be compliant with the ADA laws. The other thing that irks me is that they call it the "no judgement zone" but honestly there's no way to stop people from judging. I see a sexy lady there and I'm gonna be like yea, keep it up and look sexy momma. Or i see an overweight person and am like "yep, keep it up, it's good for you!". I don't mean this in disrespect, but its like really? How do you expect me not to say things in my head, or even look around. Especially with body builder looking people walking around. All in all though its a good gym, and i highly recommend. The prices are great (I recommend the 10 a month, i was on the "black card membership" and it wasn't worth it. Free chair massages, half price cooler drinks and you can use any gym around. I dont think its worth it. Maybe if they had like muscle milk in the cooler but they have water, sports drinks and SODA. Really, soda in a GYM COOLER. Please thats the worst thing ever, and definitely if I didn't minus a star for the other things that irk me this would have taken the cake.) read more

After 5 months of no payments being taken of our account and Planet Fitness Langhorne closing down for the pandemic today they decide to take 2 payments out without prior notification. When I called to discuss this the very young girl Torrey who answered the phone immediately got snippy with me while trying to over talk me and get me off the phone. When I asked to speak with the manager she stated she wasn't in today. Then a trainer named Alyssa got on the phone and immediately told me that Torrey was not getting loud or snippy with me and she too would not let me get a word in edge wise. I asked her for the manager and she then got the manager Faith on the phone. I explained to her about the unprofessionalism from both Torrey and Alyssa and how they tried to demean me and blow me off the phone. I explained to Faith that I have been a member at planet for 8 years and never was talked to or treated that way from any planet staff, and I don't accept it from them now. Faith stated that we received an email stating about freezing our account and if we didn't that payments would resume. When going through all emails we have received since January 2020 there was none from planet fitness. We asked her to provide the date, time, and IP address that this email supposedly came from but she couldn't. She said we had to either freeze or cancel our account which we did today while there, yet she stated we would not be refunded our 2 monthly payments and that we could use the facility until August 16th. If we cancelled our membership today July 17th that means we have no plan to return until the COVID is under control and everything is opened 100%. After how I was treated over the phone they have just lost 4 members and we will never return now. We expect our 2 payments refunded as we won't use the facility and we have not since it opened. I feel this is a scam for them to take payments without first checking with their members to see if they are returning. We are not bound by a contract our canceling fee so their is no reason for Planet not to refund our money. If we get technical they should also refund our yearly dues they took out on March 2nd since the gym closed about 2 weeks later. Do the right thing for your members Planet Fitness and refund the monthly dues. read more

I love coming here. It is clean and I can always get on a treadmill. I enjoy the massage chair after I have a workout. Those rollers find sore muscles I never knew I had! The people there are very nice. I don't tan but my wife uses the tanning beds. They have a $10 or $20 membership. I have the $20 one, that way I can use the massage chairs, use the IR light booth if I feel like it, and visit any gym in the country. The massage chair alone is worth it! It is still far cheaper than my LA Fitness membership, and I like it some much better than LA Fitness. Also, they never close. I can workout at 3pm or 3 am. read more

I signed up and have been coming to this Planet Fitness for a few weeks now and I have no complaints. Yes, the LA Fitness is a lot closer to my house but PF is $10/month vs $35/month. I usually come after work with the crowd but there is always a treadmill for me. I don't usually have to wait for a weight machine either. They have a section for the 30 min express workout, which is pretty convenient. It has weight machines that is specifically for those doing the circuit. The women's locker rooms are clean and including 3 changing rooms (seriously, who wants to change in a toilet stall, yuck). I would love a pool but for $10/month, I'm still getting a great deal. I do hate that it's next to a Panera and a Wendy's though. read more

I am now a planet fitness leming! ....and I am very happy. Joined in January of this year. Go 4x times a week in the early AM. Maybe 20 to 30 people in the whole gym at that hour. Going in the evening is much more crowded but still doable. I have to say I am impressed with the amount of free weights, racks, cleanliness of the locker rooms and the entire gym. There is never any broken equipment, everything is always in its place, other people who workout their are also great. The staff is always friendly and polite. For 10.00 a month, you cannot beat it! Hands down one of the most laid back comfortable gyms I have ever been part of. Now granted, I am not a bodybuilder and if I was, I probably would not want to go here. But for my fitness plan, it fits perfectly. I still cannot understand why anyone would eat next door though at "muscle faker grill"!!! OMG that place is so so wrong on so so many levels! read more

It's very small here and kinda dirty. The staff hands you a spray bottle for the tanning beds. That's rude and they don't do that at most facilities accept for flourtown which I won't go to anymore. I love the machines and the bathrooms are at least clean. Love the tootsie rolls too and price is unbeatable for the membership. $20 for any location monthly and tanning. For those on a budget, this gym can't be beat. I have the PF Black Card membership and pay $20/month. In exchange for my payment, I have access to a gym 24/7, tanning booths, Total Body Enhancement (Beauty Angel) booth, massage chairs, and hydromassage. I can also visit any other PF gym up to ten times in one month, and I am allowed to bring a guest. I travel an average of once per month, and my guy lives in NJ, so being able to visit another location is a must for me. Additionally, I enjoy the Beauty Angel, so the Black Card membership is quite worth the extra money for me. And $20 is still reasonable, I think. The equipment gets the job done, and there is no time limit for the machines, like at other gyms. This might change in the future, but the fact that the gym is open 24 hours a day makes it pretty easy to find a time when it's not busy. I've never had to wait for a machine, but I don't go in the morning before work or during the rush after, so I can't speak on that. The types of machines available allow for a great full body workout, and that's really all I ask. Additionally, the 30 minute total body circuit and the 12 minute abs circuit allow those not familiar with gym equipment (like I was) a chance to get an adequate workout while familiarizing themselves with gym machines. The circuits let me jump start my fitness journey. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Probably the friendliest gym staff I've encountered (I've been a member of both LA Fitness and Bally's). They'll always help you if you need something, and will show you how to use a machine you're unfamiliar with. The only thing that keeps me from giving this place five stars is the bathroom/showers. I get grossed out easily, so it could just be me, but I think the women's bathroom and the showers could be cleaner. There's normally urine on the toilet seats, water around the sinks, and the shower floors don't look the cleanest. I don't visit in the morning before work because I can't imagine showering there. You can cancel your membership at any time, but for the price, I can't imagine why you'd want to. Seriously, give PF a chance if you're looking for your fitness kick on the low low. read more

The only problem I ever had here was that it was so cheap everyone in the area used this gym and I could never get equipment when I wanted it! The process to cancel my membership was a little weird too I had to show up at the front desk with a letter that I signed and dated and give them a specific reason why I was canceling my membership. Can't beat the price of this place! Always clean and usually plenty of space. Very good 1st gym for someone just starting out! Plenty of machines to choose from and a few free weights are available with a couple of benches and a leg press machine! I have seen more variety in equipment at this Planet then any other I have been too! Only down side is if you improve your overall fitness and get too strong or want to try out more exercises in the free weight area you are limited. I went to this gym for about a year and a half and have no complaints my fitness goals just changed so I needed to find a space more suitable for my goals! read more

They are franchised for one so if you want to work out at a different location you have to have the black label membership. Also immediately after I pay top dollar for a membership the ads come out on TV for like next to nothing down and $10 a month. Extremely extremely frustrating. Also there is a yearly fee. read more
