I have to confess that even when part of their slogan is a free judge zone, well I did judge but this location completely has changed my mind about them. This place is super nice, the staff is super friendly and never is packed, so working out is actually a pleasure, no waiting for equipment. The place is pristine! All the dumbells in their place, the equipment, is always working, the lobby clean... I have to say that I don't know other places but this location is worth it to make it your gym! read more

The highlights: new facilities and courteous staff. The showers were clean, as was the entirety of the locker room. I am a huge fan of the TV arrangement: I prefer how the TVs are all simultaneously displaying different channels and the cardio machines adjust for the audio only. To me, this preferable to each machine having its own tiny (and hard to navigate) screen. You really can't beat Planet Fitness on price and this particular franchise has all new machines. It was crowded, but everyone was courteous and friendly so I can't say that I minded too much. read more

Listen, I like planet fitness, it's a cheap way to get your workouts in and it's consistent across locations... there's a lot to like about it. My complaints are with this location. There's no room to lay out mats/stretch but they have this massive space designated to 30 min workouts that nobody uses. The water fountain has been consistently broken, and the shower curtains in the woman's locker room don't even cover the showers... it would be nice if the changing rooms were attached to the showers. I wish they offered towels too, I would even pay extra for that just so I don't have to step on a slippery wet floor. I wish I could have space to do yoga after my workout but I don't see that happening. Also, 7 min on the therapy machines? Lame. Not enough time to reap any benefit. read more

if i move out of state, it's absolutely ridiculous for them to tell me i have to come in to cancel my membership. if you need a signature, implement docusign. i've literally refinanced my house easier than i've been able to cancel this membership. read more

These other reviews must be bias or lies because all the equipment is in working order including cardio, the roof is not caving in (although it does leak were the ac is and that is only in the deep summer.) A gym it gets dirty but isn't overtly filthy. It's not cardio focused but has it and free weight that go heavier then 80lbs. The gym is spacious and never too crowded. If you're looking for a good weight-lifting gym, I would highly recommend this one!

The majority of the equipment is old and broken. It's never clean. There is absolutely no cardio equipment functional. The owner is never present in his building and hides from every forum I can find/is listed nowhere. I offered to help clean and help renovations for free. My wife and I and two friends who would have dedicated 20+ hours of helping. I would take this down if the help was accepted.

Planet fitness is by far the best gym I have been to! I especially love the gym in Mount Pleasant, MI, it's super convenient for me since I am a college student! It's open 24 hours which is awesome because you can workout on your own time & it really is a judgement free zone! I am a black card member here at this facility. The tanning beds are always clean and the bulbs are great. This facility offers level 1-5 beds and a couple stand up beds as well. It's 20 dollars a month for use of the gym and unlimited tanning. My experience here has been pleasant and the staff is incredibly friendly. For anyone looking for a cheap long term solution I recommend planet fitness. read more

My favorite planet fitness, i have the black card so i can go to different locations and the Mt. Pleasant staff is the friendliest. Many of them know my name and always make me feel welcome! The stations and machines are always clean. And the locker rooms are kept tidy! Great place to work out! 110% recommend. read more

Use to live in Mount Pleasant and came by to visit some friends. I checked out the PF here and it was really clean. The staff was friendly and the trainer even introduced herself. I will definitely come back and visit next time I'm here. read more
