The pizza is fresh and who doesn't like a chocolate chip cookie. Our kids had a blast. Lots of tumbles but they got right back up and kept skating. Also, as it turns out, roller skating is tough! Event for adults. They also offer roller blades if that's your cup of tea. I know they also take party reservations - something we've done with neighbor friends in the past during December as sort of a fun family Christmas gathering indoors when it's cold outside. The place hasn't been updated since they built it, the restrooms were a complete disgrace to the roller rink industry. The men's room had no running faucet water, the actual faucets were sitting next to the sink. However there was soap, guess you can use the toilet water to rinse your hands off. As for the ladies room only one faucet was working and the doors wouldn't lock shut. As we were walking out, there were kids under the age of 10 yrs old cleaning the roller rink floor, By then that place was screaming, don't ever come back!

Being boys, they also had a lot of fun playing the basketball game set up in the corner, and some of the other games. They were very into winning tickets to pick prizes. If you are attending a hockey game here, the main things you want to be aware of are: 1) It's freezing inside. Even by ice arena standards, it's quite cold and there is no radiant heating system. Bring some gloves and a blanket. 2) The lighting is just so-so, but the sight lines are great. Plenty of good seating and standing options. 3) Quality of ice is very good, benches are clean and decent sizes. 4) Locker rooms are tiny, a Pee Wee or larger team is going to need 2 rooms (adjoining rooms share a shower). This rink is home to a few famous players, most notably Tim Thomas and Brian Rolston among other, mostly college players. I was an amazing rink when it was built, but now it's mostly just a community rink with a snack bar, skate rental, etc. I don't think it has Live Barn, but it did have wifi.
