Then after we got that to kind of clear out he got severe nasal and congestion infection which caused green Mucus and he need breathing treatments from the hospital. At this time the Director and I had a conversation and I expressed my frustrations. I spoke about what was the Cleaning procedures in the classroom at the end of the day. I started to pick him up and only then did I start smelling bleach or sanitizer when i picked him up. The teachers in Ms Brittany's class are young so I asked what certifications they had or do they have children of their own which I never got an answer. I told my daughter it was time to take him out. The director asked her to give them the opportunity to prove themselves to be trust that there would be no more illnesses. then about a month later he got pink eye !!! Now im really upset but my daughter says Mom you might be right this place is Not experienced enough. Now a month later he has a skin infection on his skin by his private area which we were told it is contagious and transferred by changing one child and not washing your hands or using gloves during changing time . It is clearing up THANK GOD but i worry about the scar it might leave in his skin . He will NEVER Return to this Place ever Again!!! I just want people to know that our experience with this Daycare is HORRIBLE. If your child has this same issue with Brittany's class it will not stop being a Problem. I Urge you Parents to ask about Change time and what illness are children still able to attend with illnesses that can be contagious. I'm still finding new rooms and amenities that make my membership really worthwhile. Most recently, I discovered the 18+ women's locker room, which is separate from the regular women's locker room and it is absolutely wonderful! It's pretty quiet in there, and it includes vanities, hairdryers, a pumping lounge, a sauna, changing rooms, and lockers. It's a very comfortable space for women, which I can really appreciate! I'm also a big fan of the yoga classes here. Tuesday night's "gentle yoga" is a great class with a fantastic instructor. I always look forward to going! There is a little bit of the spiritual aspect of yoga thrown in, but it is not too much. It is mostly focused on the yoga itself. And while it is a slower-paced class, the instructor will suggest ways to make a pose more challenging. Thursday night yoga is also a good time, and a great workout. It feels more like a fitness class, but it still retains that zen yoga energy. There are also day-use lockers that do not require a separate lock - just entering your own code - next to the yoga studio, which makes storing all my stuff really easy. There is also a lot of workout equipment! There is a good variety of machines for cardio (I love the cardio mezzanine, it's such a nice space overlooking the weight room) as well as for weights. When I do not want to workout in the weight room, I can go into one of their gymnasiums and use the free weights in there as long as there are no classes going on. In general, the Y is pretty clean and updated. The only exception is the regular woman's locker room. The staff have always been kind to me and very helpful when I need something. As for parking, the lot gets pretty hectic. It's on a somewhat busy side street off of a busy main road. The lot itself is tight and strict about the use of the parking pass. Overall, there is a lot offered here and I have always been pleased with my experience here.

I decided to check out this location during my lunch break and do a quick workout just to see if I liked it first. In the past you could get a day pass for free to try a new location, but I know they started charging $5 for day passes so I walked in ready to pay. When I expressed my intentions, the black card was immediately pushed on me. I clarified that I wanted the day pass so I could try it before switching, to which I was told I'd need to pay $20 for my workout due to new company policy if I wouldn't switch to the black card. It was basically a "sorry, sign up for the black card right this second, pay $20, or I can't help" even though I was looking to become a customer of this establishment. I was willing to pay, but I can't justify $20 for a quick cardio session during lunch. I was noticeably upset that I'd just wasted 20 minutes of my already short lunch break from work, and I would not be able to get my workout in for the day as planned. I've had various customer service jobs in the past, and I would have found a resolution so a customer didn't leave upset the way that I did. I've never left a negative review on Yelp before, but it doesn't sit right with me to have my time wasted as a loyal customer of Planet Fitness for over 5 years. North Smithfield just lost my business over what would have been a quick 30-minute ride on the elliptical. You can continue nickel-and-diming other customers, but I won't be one of them.

It's helped me get my love for the gym back for sure. I do have a few complaints but it's nothing too crazy and can definitely easily be fixed. I feel like the staff aren't the most friendly. They typically aren't visible at the front desk, and when they are it's a group of 4 employees and they don't even welcome you in. Once again, this isn't the end of the world, but I feel like in order to build a good gym community, feeling welcomed in is necessary. I have a membership where guests are allowed and my girlfriend has come with me 20+ times over the last few months. We went in last week and the employee I had never seen before at the front said she needed an ID to come in. This has never been a thing before, and she didn't have her ID on her. He said there were no exceptions. I explained to him that she's come 20+ times and hasn't needed it before. He then told us it was a new policy. How can an establishment create a new policy and not inform its paying customers? Definitely put a sour taste in my mouth. I understand policies exist, but enforcing this with no notification was crazy to me. I asked to let her in just this once since we were not aware, and he said nope. Didn't even say sorry to us. Lastly, the locker rooms are always a mess. It feels like they get cleaned once a week, if that. Toilet paper always on the floor, urine/hair always on toilet seats, the stall door locks are falling off, and there's always trash and dust everywhere. If these two things could be improved upon, I truly think this gym would be the best in the area. It's genuinely pretty great, but could be better.

The instructors are great and I love the variety in class types. Since opening, they've offered everything from level 1 to 1.5 to 2 and a range of types (Flow, Circuit, Center & Balance, Cardio). I've been practicing pilates for about 4 years now and have felt my strongest at Franklin. The owner does a great job of building a community with the occasional themed class (including Taylor Swift!) and lots of fun contests and events. Pic below is me even winning one of those prizes!! I do wish they switched up the schedule more frequently to offer different class levels on different days. Right now it switches around every two months which is only inconvenient if your schedule is a bit tight. Overall, I'd highly recommend whether you're experienced or just trying it out!

When…read moreI saw this I joined the club before they opened using a passport membership that was around $300 month. I began classes in canton so I could be up to speed in time for this club to open. When they finally did open they only offered level one classes. I took one of these level one classes. It was very easy compared to canton level 1 classes. I messaged the owner to ask if they would be offering classes for people that were not new because the schedule only offered level 1 and explained to her that the level 1 class was easier than level 1 at Canton. The owners response was rude. She posted her own screenshots of our messages saying she told me the classes would be the easier level in the beginning but contradicted her own statement. She said most classes would cater to newer members but this lead me to believe there would at least be some for intermediate levels. My issue was if the level 1 isn't really a level 1 why would the 1.5 be a 1.5 level? I was simply asking if there would be medium level classes and she lashed out on me. I wanted to get my moneys worth if I was going to pay $300 a month. To me, it seemed like this club was not truthful about what the classes would be like when they were recruiting memberships prior to opening. Not only that, she made a comment about me canceling classes which I considered rude because I was going through health issues at the time which sometimes prevented me from doing strenuous activities. I asked her repeatedly to stop messaging me. I decided to cancel my passport membership and continue with just canton. It's now been a year later, and I decided to attempt classes here again under a passport membership because the location is closer to where I live. I booked the class and the owner called me telling She remembered me not being happy before. The message implied that I was rude to instructors (which I was not) and didn't follow policy. She also made a comment about about me "going after them in the studio" as if I am some sort of lunatic that would assault people. The message that she sent was totally inappropriate. However, I am glad she sent it because I will never go to this club again. And I cannot believe that anyone owning a business would behaved this way. I also noticed I have been blocked by their Facebook page most likely because the owner doesn't want people to share these kind of experiences publicly which I have ever right to do. I noticed other reviews for this club stating the same I have said; that the levels they offer are lowered down and not challenging and also that instructors discouraged modifications to make the workout harder. I did notice that even over a year later mid level classes need to be approved by an instructor which is not the case in other clubs like canton. This leads me to believe the classes they offer are still not challenging compared the canton club. This location is not worth the money. Even over a year later. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I do highly recommend the canton club the classes are challenging and worth the money. The instructors are all great. I will continue to drive further to go to that club.
