The most stressful booking experience ive ever experienced. it's like they don't want your business. I've had appointment get cancelled last minute, times moved, confirmations with the wrong time sent.You'll inquire about an appointment and then just never hear back. The owner Mark is an unorganized mess and completely unprofessional as to how he handles his business. They would greatly benefit from using a web platform to do their booking. They do offer booking through classpass but don't even bother because the hours on there don't reflect the actual times they offer. My appointment was cancelled, then they said they could honor it, and then they gave the appointment to someone else. Honestly I can't believe this place is in business. I was shocked to arrive and realize it looks nothing more than a trailer. The rooms are absolutely freezing so I couldn't relax at all and when I asked for the temp to be adjusted it wasn't allowed. My massage was TERRIBLE but since pre-paying is required I didn't feel I could do anything about it! I literally got an Indian burn on my arm from the way it was weirdly twisted. I got very little relief from this very expensive 90 minute massage. Next the facial was just a disaster. The person didn't know how to do extractions and my face is no better the next day. The interior of the place is dilapidated crumbling and falling apart. There is mold everywhere, and it's covered up by curtains. It doesn't feel you are in a professional spa at all- rather a dingy basement somewhere. This place is such a rip off too. They suggest false tips at the end of the receipt and all the rest. Also, if you look at their menu there are ridiculous items like "sleep 20 minutes after massage for $20." This place is just looking to rip people off. Do not go here. Everything about it is a disappointment. The owner Mark wrote me several emails late into the night pressuring me to take the review down, so he knows this review is real and valid and I'm not mistaking places. The fact I have other low reviews on Yelp does not invalidate the fact this business does indeed deserve a low review. If I reviewed everywhere I went, there would be a lot more listed. There would be no reason for me to "trash" a business if I didn't think it was merited. So, the owner rips people off and is also a liar. He also refused to give money back after poor service, citing they are the best salon in Ft Lauderdale. People visit Ft Lauderdale from all around the world so this seems a convenient place to come but it's not bc the exterior, interior, and service are all horrible at a premium price. Just know when you come here that you have to pre-pay, and that it's a huge gamble bc when things don't go well you will be left fighting with Mark behind the scenes, with all his lies. I even noticed a review where Mark refused to give a lady's wedding ring back that she left unless she gave a good review. read more

My husband and I did a couples massage here for our anniversary. We both thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and felt that it was one of the best massages we've ever had. Our massage therapists Geri and Melba were both wonderful and friendly. They also were thoughtful in giving us the option to move our massage from outside to indoors when the weather ended up being very hot. I also appreciated being able to tip with a credit card. The experience overall just wasn't what I expected. I'm not from the area so I wasn't familiar with the location but had assumed from the photos that it was nice. It was a huge trailer that said "MASSAGE" - it looked very sketchy and home next door. The outdoor garden looked like it would be nice - but my massage was inside the home. I expected white clean sheets, easy music and a massage that concentrated on the back as I requested. I'd say that the face towel smelt musty (until they used essential oils), the masseuse talked quite a bit about her beliefs and experience. I asked for shoulders and mid back and felt like I paid to get a few rubs and then she really jabbed some areas to the point where I wasn't relaxed in the slightest. It was really just not good - my back also has been killing me since as well as my stomach (they pushed up into my lungs?) I wish I took pictures. They said they would be moving to a nice building which will drastically help improve this - but the masseuse really made the experience just strange. If I didn't prepay, I probably would have tan when I first saw the location. read more

I recently purchased a Groupon for my girlfriend's birthday and came across Planet massage. If nobody picks up the phone when calling to book an appointment, they will text you back rather quickly which can make scheduling easy. I will say, it was frustrating coordinating a date because time slots are limited for those that purchased on Groupon. The location is near Las Olas so it is easy to find, however when you pull up it looks like an older run-down house so it makes you question where you are. Once you open the door it's a much more comfortable environment. There is plenty of parking, so if you show up a few minutes early there won't be any trouble. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I liked my therapist as I was stretched and cracked as no other therapist has done. I would recommend it for the value, but it can be deceiving because they make you tip 20% before you can even schedule the appointment. read more

I found planet massage through Groupon. I bought a couple's massage for my mom and myself. Booking was simple, robin was communicative when the time needed to move a half hour later than we agreed upon. Getting there was fairly simple, and there was plenty of parking. The ladies were great. By the end, my mom was so relaxed she didn't want to get off of the table (her masseuse was Ann Marie). My blend of aromatherapy was wonderful- coconut, peppermint, blood orange, and eucalyptus. I tend to carry my stress in my shoulders, and my masseuse really worked out some spots (Gaby). The setting was quiet and peaceful. It's not a huge place, but it didn't really need any more than it had. Would definitely go back. read more

A lot of people like to complain but wont speak up about what they do or dont want but these therapists give you every opportunity to communicate with them. It is what seems to be apartment turned spa so if the aesthetics of a traditional spa are what you're looking for maybe move on but the work is what matters and I would highly recommend. read more
