We've been coming here since January and absolutely love it. They were closed for a few weeks due to a renovation and just re-opened (the pictures I uploaded show the new inside!) It's beautiful inside and extremely clean. New stations, new pedicure chairs and equipment, plus a new bathroom! The staff is professional, kind and attentive - which is the biggest difference for us when comparing different nail salons in the area. When they were closed during the renovation I had to use another salon at the mall and it took 90 minutes to fill in acrylics when I made an appointment. They were saying yes to walk ins and would work in each person for a few minutes then went to the next customer for a few minutes while you sat and waited. That's not how Planet Nails works! I highly recommend Planet Nails whether you want a pedicure, gel nails, manicure, acrylics or eyebrow waxing. There are different levels of pedicures and they do take about an hour ... especially if you choose to end it with a hot rock massage and the moisturizing wax! They are open 7 days a week and the pizza place next door has great food as well! read more

This nail salon is a bit hidden so I was hoping it was a hidden gem.. The quality of the service was fair. You also get a coupon card when you pay cash, you eventually work your way up to discounts or something like that. I would plan to return but the technician became very irritated trying to sell me services. She mentioned at least 3-4 times about adding a pedicure. Also mentioned several times to get dip instead of gel. I can appreciate they want service you but please don't make me become uncomfortable and pressured. I made an appointment for Saturday at 10 am. I arrived at 9:56 and she was waiting outside the salon and rushed me in. She asked what I was looking to get and I showed her an inspiration picture I what I wanted. She offered me 2 different colors which matched the picture pretty well. The picture had long almond nails. She asked me if I wanted the long almond and I explained no I wanted short coffin. She argued saying I should have brought in a picture of short coffin then. She started on my nails being very rough and I felt as though she was rushing. She started on the designs which were flowers, after she painted them on I realized I hated the way she drew them. I was getting my nails done for my engagement photos and I didn't like the way the flowers look. They honestly looked like a child drew them. I asked her if she could just change it and she said she couldn't. I asked her to just file off the design and to please just do it solid with sparkle. She eventually complied and just put it solid with the sparkle. But she did not spread ANY of the sparkle on the nail so there was just a huge clump of glitter. She then got up and walked over to another client who had just walked in and left me for 5 minuets just sitting waiting. When she came back she said I can come up front to pay. I payed with my card and was going to tip with my card. She then insisted I tip her in cash. I explained I would just tip with my card and she said "no you tip in cash not card" I was in an uncomfortable situation so I just tipped her in cash. The service here was terrible and my nails hurt and look terrible. I didn't take any pictures of my nails before taking them off because they were so bad. They were not even and lumpy. They should be the same length all around and smooth. I paid $60 for these and I feel as tho they weren't even worth $20. I am beyond upset with this company. Horrendous. Never been here as I just moved to area and it was closest to me so I thought I'd try it out. I went in and knew exactly what I wanted was harassed until I got more. How many times can you say no? Literally was the most annoying visit I've ever had at a nail salon, wouldn't accept no and kept on and on with "come on.. what about this" so pissed I paid over $100 for less an an hour and complete aggravation. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I HAD to give 1 STAR JUST TO REVIEW. They deserve NONE. Save yourself the headache an go somewhere else. I always read reviews before trying out a new place. They seemed pretty decent from the reviews. Wellllll let me tell you they're NOT. What started as a fun girl's day with my daughter turned into a complete and utter nightmare. From the start I should of walked out. They were pushy and rude. They also wouldn't listen to what we wanted. We went in for manicures. They ended up up-selling us to get pedicures also, but for $40 each with 2 free designs for each, so I said yes. Since it was my daughter's first time, she's 6. Then they say well yours is actually $45 because you're an adult. So I said fine. Well all was fine until it came time to pay. They tried adding in nail polish costs, gem cost OF $55!!!!! JUST for some junky gems which THEY DECIDED TO ADD by the way, WITHOUT SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO BE CHARGING ME. About $2 per gem I might add. They also tried to charge for numerous other "reasons" which again were NEVER DISCLOSED PRIOR. They are price gouging customers and intentionally hustling them. The gel manicure was not well done. The technician did it way too fast and didn't take her time cutting the cuticles, filing, or painting. She kept telling another client that she would be right with her and it seemed that she didn't care if my manicure was well done. I definitely don't recommen. read more

DONT EVER GO HERE!!! They we're completely disrespectful, after I said owe multiple times the lady actually cut my finger and it was bleeding because she kept shaving and filing the skin right next to my finger. She grabbed my purse without permission and slammed it on the front counter and said it was time to pay.The prices at the end were not at ALL what she had told me in the very beginning. Not a very clean place. An appointment was made for my friend who was getting married the following day and her 5 bridesmaid. Luckily they fit us in last minute but we had to wait for a long time and all had people switching nail techs 2-3 times during our time there. The place was wildly unsanitary. They cleaned the exfoliating sponge they use on in the bottom of the foot in the water my feet had been soaking in. Their instruments came out of a device that looked like a warmer not a sanitizer. There was a baby crying and running around the store in a walker during the time and the nail techs took turns consoling the baby. Everything about this place is wrong. My fingernail color chipped and cracked the next day and my toenail color chipped a week later and toenail polish rarely chips and peels! Highly discourage anyone from visiting this place and supporting an unsanitary and probably unethical store. read more

WILL NOT RETURN!!!!! I was looking forward for my daughter and I to get our nails done. I was limited to where we could go because it was Sunday. I have been to this place multiple times over the last few years. I know when I left there the last time ( 1 year ago) I wasn't happy, but couldn't remember why, so I thought I would try it again. Why I don't listen to myself, I haven't a clue! When I called to make the appointment for two, she wasn't pleasant and rushed me off the phone. In my mind I thought, is this why I didn't like it last time? They were accommodating to the time I needed and that's why they received 1star. So when my daughter and I walked in, no hi how are you, it was, what you need, pick a color. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted and I knew the colors I wanted for the design I had picked previous to coming in there. The father came up to me and asked what color and I was trying to explain to him and the minute I showed him the design he made a gesture with his hands and shook his head no and walked away. Then his daughter asked him to take my nail polish off my natural nails. He griped about it, but did it, and might I add with the drill which you can only imagine how great that felt ( it burned)!!! When I pulled my hand away he would look up at me and grab it back, no apology! So one of the daughters said she was ready for me and I showed her the design and she was irritated bc I picked the wrong kind of polish for what I wanted, I said ok these are the shades I want can you get what I need. She was very irritated with me and tried to get me to change my mind. Well she won the battle, when she looked at me and said you, $76.00 .....ummmm no! Just use plain color. Well she got out of that one! Then I asked for glitter as well, well apparently the glitter I picked wasn't rt either she twice went over and was trying to sell me on this outrageous looking glitter that was not my style. so because I said no, she was pissed even more. I told my daughter one more thing and were leaving! I'll go somewhere else to have them painted. She was obviously irritated with me with her gestures while doing my nails and All I could think of, is how quiet I was being. I've been in nail salons plenty where there has been some really picky people that never would have put up with what we did and she just wouldn't stop!! So it gets better! The other daughter was finishing my daughter and I heard her ask if she wanted her eyebrow done. She said no, I just had them done! Then my daughter came over and told me, mom she asked if I wanted my hands waxed I mean come on!!! She's 15, way to make a young girl feel self conscious! of course I was asked the eyebrow question as well, I laughed! When we went to pay I was signing my credit card slip and I kid you not she looked rt over my shoulder and I looked at her with I'm sure not such a great look at this point and her response was a chuckle and said, I just want to make sure you can add right ( now I'm pissed) then she says you got cash for that tip!
