However, with a dream vacation coming up and my determination to start taking better care of myself, I went to Glow's Facebook page and through messenger, listed my goals, confessed my ignorance and asked for help. Angie, the owner, was super prompt to reply and booked my first appointment. On appointment day, it wasn't easy to walk through the door (my nerves had returned) but Angie made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in. We visited about the various treatments, she explained what each involved and helped me make the choices to reach my goals. Another fear I had was a younger person not understanding an older person still wanting to be sexy for her husband (mine's pretty awesome!), for wanting smoother legs and a prettier complexion. After confessing that fear to Angie, she said one of the main reasons she does what she does is that she likes making women feel better and that no woman is too old for that: she understood! I asked about a partial refund or redoing them with a different polish lol she said "No time" so basically "you done" they got your money.. she did end up giving me a twenty after discussing with her boss.
