However, with a dream vacation coming up and my determination to start taking better care of myself, I went to Glow's Facebook page and through messenger, listed my goals, confessed my ignorance and asked for help. Angie, the owner, was super prompt to reply and booked my first appointment. On appointment day, it wasn't easy to walk through the door (my nerves had returned) but Angie made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in. We visited about the various treatments, she explained what each involved and helped me make the choices to reach my goals. Another fear I had was a younger person not understanding an older person still wanting to be sexy for her husband (mine's pretty awesome!), for wanting smoother legs and a prettier complexion. After confessing that fear to Angie, she said one of the main reasons she does what she does is that she likes making women feel better and that no woman is too old for that: she understood! I was grateful for her help, for calming my fears and already have more appointments booked. I came home with smoother skin & an appreciative heart.

They said "ok come , we look" so I went back 3 hours later (that was the only time I had unless I was going to wait the next day) and they couldn't of been more unprofessional the whole process was bad one girl couldn't stop from messing up my nails on my feet's with the gel setting lamp, so I mentioned maybe the polish was old etc because she was having other issues anyway another girl comes to finish and nearly 3 hours later I was done . The lady at the desk asked how they were I said I guess they will do. I literally do better myself and could have saved 100 bucks . Anyway I know stuff happens I'm in the beauty industry myself but To have such unprofessionalism was what put me over the top. I would have never treated a client this way. Not to mention they were discussing it in their language. I asked about a partial refund or redoing them with a different polish lol she said "No time" so basically "you done" they got your money.. she did end up giving me a twenty after discussing with her boss. But acted like it was my fault .. I ended up filing off the top coat and just painted them myself and it looks better than what they left me with. So minus- stars.. lesson learned...

The place doesn't accept cash because employees constantly steal it. Hmm, okay. They use old lazy-boy recliners for clients and they are falling apart and just gave me an overall dirty feel. The two times I had appointments, there were never paper towels in the bathroom. The staff are very nice but don't acknowledge your existence unless you are their client. There's so much potential for this salon but don't get the vibe the owner is willing to put in the grit to get it there.
