Dr. Cunningham is no nonsense and no frills and I appreciate that from her and her office. She tells you her exact medical opinion while also being a human being. She will always stay longer in your room answering each and every one of your questions - I have never felt rushed from her and have always been heard. I must give a huge shout out to Courtney and Deborah. They are so lovely that I would consider them my friends, not just staff that works at my doctors office. Nona Cunningham's treatment of me when removing an IUD was the worst pain and inhumane treatment I have ever received in my life, much more painful that childbirth. When she was removing my IUD, I was under no pain meds or numbing, and she TORE into me. I was on the table screaming and literally crying from fear and pain and she continued. I begged her to stop- the pain was unbearable and she told me I was over reacting and this is "normal". I had to stop three times during the procedure due to pain and terror I experienced. She should be removed.

So many people who have jobs and kids and other responsibilities are not taken into consideration when being made to wait, not knowing how long they will be waiting. Missed busses, drivers who won't or can't wait more than 5 minutes, baby sitters costing more due to delays they are not told about because the patient is left in the dark and now they can not get home when they thought or planned. Basic considerations go a long way in helping patients feel cared for. *Providers should be listening, actively paying attention and responding appropriately, not sitting at the computer during the entire appointment barely responding to the conversation. *Responds appropriately to what you have told them *Your healthcare concerns are given the appropriate response, not just ignored *Leaves the room only AFTER they have asked "is there anything else concerning you right now. *Asks permission before touching you. ALWAYS. *Informs you of what they are doing and why, keeping you actively involved in your healthcare. *Asks about recent injuries, procedures, hospital visits, surgeries etc., Asks to actually look at the area of your body which has been impacted. *Takes an interest in your follow up care be it a referral or procedure or (fill in the blank) *Checks out any recent injuries, even minor ones *Actually performs exams, does not just walk in, sit facing away from you engaging only in the computer screen (it's just rude to start with), barely responding to what you are saying. *Discusses your current medication and informs you if there are any issues with medications, dosing, issues with OTC products and any other meds, dosing time etc., *Does not replace quality healthcare and a good solid work ethic with Apathy, arrogance, abandonment or abuse. Understands how detrimental delayed and denied care is to a patients health and well being. *Follows up on referrals. *Does not leave an exam room to speak with another patient on the phone, not unless it is a true emergency. *Provides you with regular updates on any referrals, testing or procedures. *Regularly goes over your treatment plan, updating what your provider intends to do to help manage your healthcare. Initiates care, new meds, new referrals etc, does not rely on the patient to do these things for them. I would love to say this clinic provides quality healthcare and all patients are treated with compassion, care, consideration and kindness, but I find them sorely lacking in every aspect of care. Where is the Director? The CEO? Why do they just let substandard care persist? Dr. Christopher Duntsch would have fit right in at this clinic, he was able to hurt and even cause the deaths of his patients without repercussions or oversights, as a surgeon, he was not challenged at all until it was too late for the patients he harmed. Fortunately a few physicians outside of his practice looked into his work and were so appalled by his lack of basic care, procedures and even anatomy that they notified the law, he is now sitting behind bars where he can no longer hurt his patients. Medicine should never come to this, never. I also bet this review will be read and absolutely nothing will be done to improve the lack of quality care patients must endure. Next appointment, I will concede to the regular application of apathy, arrogance, retaliation, and silence I constantly get in lieu of receiving quality healthcare. I will fight no more. People here seem to think patients have never experienced quality healthcare and ought to just be happy either what they are getting, to not compare services or challenge the lack of care. I'm done with having to be the more professional person in the room, initiating every referral, every consideration for new meds or more effective meds and ways to make my life more bearable than it is now. I came here looking for quality healthcare, instead I got the same BS I left at the last 2 clinics. I have recently gotten so frustrated that I have contacted some oversight agencies and consulted with friends and acquaintances in both the medical and legal field, the only one not shocked at the abysmal level of care I'm getting is my provider. Things need to change here, all patients should be treated with a basic level of consideration, no matter what and that's just not happening and I doubt it ever will. When you hold insecure and/or dishonest people who are in a position of power accountable, they tend to retaliate. Their colleagues tend to believe each other no matter what is presented before their own eyes, leaving patients victims of inadequacy. Hopefully one day, the people sliding under the radar here will be held accountable.

I love that, Professional, polite Asian male nurse administered my vaccines and processed my intake. I was in and out in less than 5 mins! Finding a parking spot took longer. Kaiser has consistently offered reminders and organized access to vaccinations to their members. I love Kaiser for this and many countless past great visits.

Almost exactly a year ago I had to go to this place because I didn't have insurance... I really…read morewish I just waited for my insurance to kick in. They are extremely pro-life despite what they may try to tell you. Which is fine- everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. My issue is that they pretend not to be. I called to make an appointment after finding out I was four weeks pregnant. It was not a planned pregnancy and at that time I just wanted to to find out if it was viable. I wanted to know the health of my fetus and myself. When I called to make an appointment- I asked every question you could think of to gauge what kind of clinic it was. I learned very quickly that all of the answers I received from their office manager Robyn was a very rehearsed lie. To try to sum it up- They tried to talk me out of genetic screening- said it was unnecessary and they did not recommend it. They said the state of California legally forced them to mention it but it wasn't important. They came off as bother and upset with me when I said I still wanted the tests. And then they would not take no for an answer on my initial visit - they kept pushing me to take home a new parenting kit with diapers etc. I was only four weeks pregnant and I did not to be put in that awful situation. Their efforts of trying to guilt me into what they wanted never stopped. They FORCED me to listen to the heartbeat because they said they did not not know how to turn the volume down. Which I came to find out is illegal. They also tried to force me to watch an ultrasound because again they said they did not know how to turn the *tv* screen off. I then asked them if there was a remote and to hit the power button. It was that easy. I mentioned their office manager Robyn .. .. To get into what she has done still blows my mind. She instantly became too familiar with me. She would demand very personal information and act as if she held a medical degree. Which that clinic allows her to be in that position of power- the doctors that I saw were elderly and seemed to be out of touch and I felt maybe they were being manipulated. Then there was the ultrasound technician who was from England she actually told me she's not technically registered to do ultrasounds in the US- but there's a loophole so she is able to work under the umbrella of the clinics other doctors. She was also the one who could not figure out how to turn the the heartbeat off and forced me into listening when I was not ready. Anyways the office manager Robyn attempted to act as the go to person between myself, doctors and pharmacists. So unprofessional and uncomfortable. She became hostile with me a few times when I voiced my complaints. I told her I would not be coming back. She went from leaving me angry voicemails to this.. A week or two later I just happen to bumped into her outside my new doctors office. Okay awkward but I let it go. She ended up texting me later that night about it. I don't answer. Some time goes by .. I get texts from her asking if I need maternity clothes. I don't answer. More time goes by.. she looks me up on Facebook and starts liking my pregnancy photos. I block her. The last communication from her was in December asking if I've had my baby. I did not answer. This place prays on people they perceive as weak. ****I know anyone going to this clinic probably is not in the ideal position- I actually get it. I was in the same spot. Its a difficult and confusing situation that I got myself in. BUT this place really made it so much worse. They tried adding unnecessary guilt and stress. The advice they give is really really shitty and based off their religious beliefs. ****
