Long story short he didn't get paid because I didn't receive the invoice until I reached out and asked about it. He sent it to me directly and I paid it. Well I guess he was not happy about that and no longer answered requests to schedule my next cut. Complete radio silence. I had already paid him for the first cut without issue. The second cut's invoice was a weird spam issue. A simple mistake. But then to completely ignore everything after was very unprofessional. Like I said the work he did was great. But that weird silent treatment was not acceptable. That is what keeps him from getting 5 stars. The only reason I am writing this review is for the fact that I am in search of a lawn care company again. I am no longer cutting my own grass and when I requested quotes, he was the first to give me a quote which made me laugh.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.
