Plantasia is a vegan Asian restaurant in Roma Norte. It is conveniently located and easy to walk to. The service, however, was very, very slow. The waiter passed us 3-4 times before finally asking us what we wanted to drink. We ordered our drinks and they took forever to come out. We wanted to order our food as well many times, but couldn't find anyone free to take our order even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Our dessert also took a long time to come out even though we ordered it with our entrees. The drinks didn't taste that great. All 3 barely had any alcohol and my rosewater milk tasted like a watered down smoothie. The food also had a general unique cashew after taste. The Sunomomo was good, a flavorful cucumber salad, but all the entrees were average. The Birria Ramen had a waxy layer on top and was way too spicy to enjoy. The texture of the vegan meat inside was also off putting. The kimchi roll was also not my favorite. The pieces were a weird size and also kept falling apart. You could definitely taste the cashew and it was overall bland. The iced lotus pie was a good biscoff cheesecake type dessert, but was really icy and hard to take bites out of. The flavor was nice, however. The aesthetic inside was beautiful though. Generally, most restaurants in the area did a good job decorating with plants. The vegan/plant based theme here was evident with lots of photo opportunities. It was dimly lit, but the ambiance would've made it worth it if the service and food wasn't so bad. The concept was great in theory, but I wouldn't go back here to eat.

We came here to try their food as it is all vegan. We came here for dinner on a Tuesday night and it was not very busy, but there were a few parties around. The service at this restaurant is very great. We were primarily helped by Uriel, who was so friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the gyozas to start. Our main dishes consisted of the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. We also ordered the Strawberry smoothie, Oasis refresher, Kombucha, and Yozu Lemon Pie and Taro Donutsu for desert. All of the food was amazing, fresh, and natural. This restaurant has a decent bar area in the front and plenty of seating in the back. The vibe of this restaurant is a little bit more upscale and great for a nice date and/or celebration. Overall, I would most definitely return to this restaurant when I'm back in town.

the ambiance of the place is beautiful. the pad thai was filling, just wish it had more tofu. maybe had 3 chunks total. for the price, i don't think the place is worth it, or maybe i should've ordered something else haha

5 stars for the ambiance.... Truly a plant garden restaurant. The vibe was so rain forest-y. I'd give 4 stars to food only because there were a lot of cuisines and I think it's hard to achieve perfection in taste. Loved the vibe in the night and I'd love to visit here in the day time sometime during my next trip...

The vibes here were so funny but awesome. The food was crazy and that like mind blowing vegan experience if that makes sense. Like why tf was the mozzarella stick so real and good??? We all ordered pad see ew and it was not pad see ew but it was amazing. The crispy tuna rice appetizer i believe is a must order. Desserts also great. I love cdmx

I stumbled upon this plant based cafe and was blown away! I ordered the watermelon sushi and a fried rice. The atmosphere was stellar, the food was delicious and carefully thought out, and the service was great.

I tried a few things everyone loved, that were only okay. The dim sum wontons were good but they were tiny. The donuts were not good. They were insanely dense, like health food instead of a donut. The cheese wontons were just okay and I didn't love the chutney they come with (this is also what the dim sum comes with). What was really good was the fake cheese kabob skewer. Probably the best fake cheese mozzarella stick sort of food, that I've ever had. The noodle dishes were fine but not worth going out of your way for. I didn't try any sushi.

Visited for an early dinner without a reservation and seated quickly. Love the ambiance of the restaurant as I felt like I was in an outside jungle. The menu has a lot of options so I had to choose wisely as I initially wanted to order more! I started off with a lavender lemonade which was not bad, but not sweet at all which was a slight disappointment but I was thankful later as I order the French toast for dessert (100 percent recommend!). For appetizer I ordered the wantons with the sweet chili sauce. Wow, WoW, and WOW! I don't know how they did it but this was probably the closest and the best tasting wantons I've had since becoming a vegan. I didn't want this dish to end, and could've ate more! Highly recommend it for appetizers. I also ordered the sweet and sour tempura as my main dish which they brought with the sauce on the side. I really liked that I could pour the sauce over the broccoli to my liking. The dish was perfect! Definitely filling so be mindful about dessert afterward unless you have room like I did! Overall, I encourage all vegans and non vegans to visit this restaurant. It was highly recommended to me and thankfully I had time to visit as I would've missed out on a top restaurant in CDMX for vegans.

Beautiful plant-based restaurant with a lush, green interior. The dim sum was great, and the yuzu lychee drink was a standout. The pad kee ew was decent, though I didn't love the tofu, and the rose milk wasn't for me. Overall, a nice spot worth checking out.

Visited this place on a visit to Mexico City and ended up returning 3 times!!!! I've seen reviews that aren't rating it well and I must say, they are the problem. This place is so good. Some of the dishes are better than others but if you don't love something, order something else. It's extremely affordable and almost everything we had was a 10/10. I will fly to Mexico City again just to eat here. And my boyfriend who is not vegan, chose this over non vegan places. He even ranked it among the best restaurants in the city like Ryoshi and animal. He believes some of the dishes below are better than things he had at the other 2. Absolutely amazing place. Our favorites -edamame - must get -wontons -tacos -chile roll - so good -kimchi rolll -ramen - the donuts Good but don't order again -brownie -pad Thai (added spice on side and made it better) -gyoza

Vegetarian Japanese style with great food and great service! We came here for early dinner. Everything from the exterior, all the way through the long narrow corridor to the dining area, is so cute and nicely decorated. We felt as if we had traveled into a Japanese garden in a town in Asia. The place where they sat us was unique! The food was light and a great change from the typical Mexican cuisine. Great way to give our tourist tummy a break from the Mexican dishes we had been having.

Pretty good vegan and vegetarian food for the price. The seating is in a very pretty outdoor courtyard behind the entrance. It's a great spot for a date when the weather is nice. The food itself is good enough. The gyoza are very small so skip those but they taste nice. The pad Thai was solid and I'd get it again. Would return to explore other options, but it's not a place I'm itching to get back to.

Really great food. Small portions, so not the place if you're "hangry". Nice place for a group of friends. Friendly staff and nice ambience.

Let's just say that Chinese food is not easy to find in Mexico City if you're not looking for a buffet. We finally came across Ah-Un which is basically pan Asian. As a general rule of thumb, don't ever eat sushi at a place that has no customers. If the fish is not moving then you're asking to be sick. There was also a smell coming from the bar which smelled like old alcohol. It's not fish but it gives you an idea of the cleanliness. We decided to get the katsu don and the pad Thai. Two cooked dishes that seemed like a safe choice. The pad Thai wasn't bad. It tasted like the dish should taste and was a large serving. The katsu don was not as good. The katsu was dry and the rice was tasteless. I mean it didn't even taste like white rice. It just wasn't good at all. At the end, we were just glad to eat something other than tacos.

We ordered way too much food and I wished I had an extra stomach to devour all of it. I ordered the…read moreRainbow Roll and he had the spicy salmon roll. Both were super fresh and delicious but not spicy at all. I also ordered the noodle soup which ended up being gigantic but the broth and noodles were perfect for a rainy day. They have a full bar including featured cocktails and beer and wine. The service is prompt and the food was high quality. You may think you shouldn't eat this while in Mexico given it isn't Mexican food but I think you should! Tasted just as authentic as a Japanese Restaurant in California!
