We tried Ryoshi during our visit to Mexico City while celebrating my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had. The service was superb -- attentive, professional, and memorable. The food was just as impressive. The fish quality was outstanding, easily among the best I've ever had. From the sashimi to the rolls, every bite was fresh, clean, and perfectly balanced. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs at work -- their attention to detail was incredible. They inspected every dish before it went out, and if something wasn't perfect, they sent it back to make it right. As someone who loves fresh fish and prefers light seasoning over heavy sauces, this place was spot on. Just enough sauce to enhance the flavor without overpowering the natural taste of the fish. I even wanted to go back the next day, but we tried another well-known Asian spot at the Ritz instead -- and it just couldn't compare. Ryoshi truly delivers. A must-try for any sushi lover visiting Mexico City.

This was a really fun and trendy sushi spot in Polanco. I came here after a long day of traveling, and the staff was really kind and accommodating with helping me get a spot at the bar despite not having a reservation I will say that the service was slightly slower despite it not being a very busy night I'm not sure if this was because I was a walk-in, but the sushi was still prepared deliciously and I really enjoyed it. Extremely tasty and they have a few fun drink options as well!

The food was absolutely amazing. We were seated at the bar and got a close up of the chefs making all the food which was fun to watch.

Loved the vibe and food at Ryoshi. If you're looking for a spot that has fresh ingredients, great value, and a vibrant atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. We had the sashimi and that was the star of the meal. A generous portion of fresh fish and our only regret was not ordering another. Their wasabi is freshly grated and I recommend ordering one for each person. The wasabi portion is pretty small. They are also known for their Tuna flight and had lean and light cuts to rich, fatty toro. Overall this spot has high-quality ingredients and surprisingly reasonable prices.

Mexico City is not sanonomiuos with seafood or sushi. As we walked by Ryoshi, we noted a crowded restaurant with people laughing and smiling while enjoying a meal. The inside space was beautifully decorated and yet not overdone. We had made reservations and were seated to order appetizers. We started with the tuna tostadas and beef dumplings. They were delicious. We ordered 5 separate sushi rolls. Unfortunately, I don't recall the name of each roll. I can say that the rolls were flavorful, had good contrasting tastes and were unique. We enjoyed all the rolls and went home full. Our feeling is that Ryoshi was an excellent choice for sushi in Mexico City. Overall, beautiful setting, good attentive wait staff, delicious food and a good variety of choices.

Hands down the best restaurant and best service I've ever experienced. Such a yummy place. We got the Mocktail with lychee Baby carrots Rice bowl Edamame Banana dessert Sushi And other items I forgot to take pics of. Amazing place and I will be back in Mexico City just to eat here. Incredible experience

My absolute favorite meal during my Mexico City trip was here. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Ambiance is excellent. We booked a same day reservation on open table and got dinner date seating where we can see the open kitchen line prepare food. There is so much pride that goes into the offering and presentation of their food. Npthing we ordered was lacking from the corn to the yakitori and tuna sashimi flight. I'm going to remember this meal for years to come.

Ryoshi is such a great vibe! We were able to book online before visiting mexico. No wait-- got seated inmediately. Outside and the entrance is very elegant with the big bolded name on the wall with big doors in front. This place is huge. They seat so many people each night and it was packed when we went on a weekday evening. We were given the best service-- coat rack and water service was great. The food was amazing. I loved the banana dessert! Worth it if you are on a trip to cdmx! I had a great time thank you :)

We were seated right away without a reservation. Loved the decor and the casual, intimate atmosphere. We tried the sashimi, vegetable gyoza, salmon don, wagyu beef, seafood fried rice, and finished with the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. If I had to offer a critique, I'd say the wagyu was just okay--not bad, just okay. Deep respect to the kitchen for executing such a comprehensive menu. The consistency shines through not just in the high-ticket items but also in the staples like gyoza and fried rice.

You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu. It was in both Spanish and English. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.

I had the good fortune to visit with my cuñados. We basically did the feed me, where the chef just keeps going until you tell him to stop. It was incredible! We basically did a tuna tour with 7 different tuna nigiris from the top to the belly of the tuna - each one absolutely excellent. At the start, the chef asked us about preferences and when I mentioned that I like wasabi, he told me there would be none - and there was no need for any. The nigiri construction was simply art - lots of very subtle flavors that just made each one excellent. Most of the time, I had no idea what it was, even though I was watching him construct them. He suggested that I use my hands and eat them with the protein side on my tongue - incredible. We also had one with foie gras and one with black truffle - both were good, but frankly, just their normal fare did right by me. The nigiris were about 100 pesos for the normal stuff up to 200 for the toro (~$5-$10), a fantastic value. If you have any affinity for Japanese food, you need to try this place - it totally rocks!

Our server recommended a few options for us after finding out it was our first time there and that we were traveling in from out of town. They were solid recommendations and we really enjoyed our fresh air dining experience out on their patio. The prices were relatively high, but it somewhat follows the high class area that we were in, but not a cheap meal by any means. It was a fancy splurge. The one thing that we didn't like was a lot of the specialty dishes were very mayonnaise-centric. Another roll we tried was very buttery, since it had clarified butter spread across the top, so it gave it this sort of movie-theater popcorn after taste.
