So, so, so grateful for their willingness to assist me with a special last-minute order for the delivery of a bouquet of flowers to an area not normally covered in their delivery radius. I called from Hawaii as we have someone that works for us that was traveling back for the funeral of her Aunt. We wanted to send a gesture of support from our Company to her family. Not knowing anything about the general area and distance from the funeral location I called a couple of businesses through Yelp and eventually was told to call Plantation Decor for this area. The woman I spoke to (sorry I'm not sure who it was) was very helpful and even helped me figure out some important details that I didn't have access to. In a matter of a few minutes I was able to select an arrangement option and pay by credit card over the phone, from the middle of the Pacific! Gotta love technology and the way it makes our world a smaller place! This was really important to me as the person from our Company traveling there to be in support of her Aunt's life is a highly valued Team member for us and someone that we wanted to be able to show our love and support for. We were able to personalize the comments left on the card with the basket of flowers and I'm grateful we were able to show this small but important gesture with the grieving family. After having a horrible experience with a flower shop on Hwy 90 in Boutte, I googled flower shops in St. Charles Parish. Plantation Decor popped up. I met with Janie not long after. I explained to her what I was looking for for my wedding. She was so kind and helpful. My fiancé and I felt very comfortable talking to her. She really seemed to understand what we were looking for. We got our quote the very next day. My fiancé and I talked and agreed we felt comfortable trusting our wedding to her especially since she assured us she will only book one wedding a day, so that our wedding has her full attention. Five Star experience!! My boyfriend's mom was having surgery and we wanted to send her some flowers. I like to search for local florists as opposed to using 1-800 Flowers or ProFloweres. I feel you get a lot better product, experience and price. I am right!! Janie at Plantation Decor was amazing! I let her know that his mom's favorite color is purple and a price range I wanted to spend. What she created was incredible and made his mom cry!! It really made her day!! I called and placed the order a few days before the surgery. There was a hurricane/tropical storm coming and she touched base regarding and let me know she would stay in touch if she would be able to deliver or not. The storm missed them thank goodness so we were able to move froward with my request of the day after the surgery. Janie text me a picture of the arrangement before heading out to deliver them. I was blown away!! I am including both the picture Janie sent me and the one my boyfriend's mom text me. They are gorgeous! They still look wonderful and smell amazing over a week later!!
