So we went on line and this was the closest location that had the color in stock. Once we arrived we came to find out that the manufacturer renamed the color but the one they had would work to finish the project. After we checked out we learned that they have the most amazing artwork on their walls for sale. So the sales associate went into action to take them off the walls for us so we could purchase them. Needless to say the service here is literally out of this world as three associates assisted us to our vehicle. The pricing is also very reasonable. Their garden shop has a beautiful selection of flowers. As well as the clothing and shoes are great. Got the most comfortable slippers for $10. Our next visit they had a barbecue outside for charity. You pay at the register and we had the most delicious hamburgers and hotdog. Since it was Memorial Day weekend they were giving out small American Flags as well. What a wonderful experience. This is our favorite Ace Hardware the sales associates and inventory make this location exceptional. They have us as customers for life!

But both are good sources. On the other hand, this Ace Hardware doesn't always have what I want, the pricing is at least 10-15% higher, the selection is not as good.... BUT- yeah, you knew there was a but... I have to say that the people(family?) that work here are incredible!! Helpful, go out of their way to make sure you find what you need (without being obnoxious), offer suggestions, laugh and smile. These are real people doing good work in a meaningful way. Not sure how you feel about that but to me, I'd rather reward people like that and not some corporate giant. Plus, Ace is 4 minutes away and easy to get to with parking at the door. Although it was early morning, staff was very present and one of the older gentleman even helped me carry my belongings to the register. Who knew Home Depot had self checkout registers which was super convenient. I got a 5 pound bag of potting soil on sale and to my surprise the pot was also marked down when I scanned it. Double win.
