Holy shih... never been so blown away at how fresh everything came out for an Indian restaurant in the middle of nowhere. This place deserves everything good since all they do is have good food and service. Mitesh made the food and actually quite taken away at how everything came out. I ordered butter chicken and rice ($15.99) and garlic naan ($3.99). Passing through on a long road trip, I was happy to see a real restaurant with real food. The butter chicken and rice were ok. They tasted kind of bland, not like what I'm used to getting at Indian restaurants. The chicken was tough as well. I wish I had received a knife instead of just a spoon. There was a lot of food, but I wish I received more naan because there wasn't enough of that to eat with all of the chicken and rice. I received sooooo much butter sauce it would last a long time. When you walk in, there was nobody to greet you... We had to wait about 10 minutes before the gentleman came out who was very nice... And we went to check the menu. Have to stuff was not even available. Very few items available. I did talk to some of the people who are eating there and they said the food was delicious And great but you have to wait at least 30+ minutes so we decide to move on... Man let me tell you, that food was great. Satisfying and delicious. The place is connected to a truck stop which is how I found this place. I am an American truck driver and do not know what any of these dishes are. I picked the Chicken and rice. It was spicy but not overly spicy with a hint of saffron. So glad I stopped here. If you are like me and don't know about Indian food, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. The food is GAF! Didn't take any pictures but it is well made. Comes with a yogurt sauce. read more

Great food here! I was traveling through just like most of the others here. Tasty dinner. Just what I wanted... I had the lamb and the cheese naan. The cheese naan doesn't have much cheese but the lamb dish was excellent. I also got a chai tea but it's still too hot to drink! read more

Surprise to find an Indian Restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Had Roti and Sag Tiki Masala which was very good with just enough spice. I'm giving it a 4 because I also ordered Aloo Matar which we never received. The one dish was plenty for 2 of us and didn't get charged for the Aloo. Will have to order next time. read more

We were driving from CA to Houston, TX and we found this place by luck. We were hungry, and I was just saying to my husband, "how nice it would be to have a nice hot meal right now!" And then I looked at the map and started to find a decent place to get some food. We were on the 10 fwy, in the middle of nowhere, and we thought only fast food existed here. Imagine my shock when I saw "Indian Restaurant" popped up on my map. I told my husband, "let's try this!" Even though I was excited, I told myself not to put too much hope in the food. Wrong!! The food is delicious, freshly made and authentic! I can safely say it's even better than some of those indian food out there in the cities. I saw a lot of truckers coming in and out of this restaurant. This restaurant is adjoined to the gas station convenience store. read more

Restaurant is dirty. The taste was good, but there was barely any chicken to my meal. I ordered the chicken curry and the amount of protein was minimal. The staff seems disinterested whether you stay or go for an out of the way restaurant, the prices were a bit Unrealistic. read more

HIDDEN GEM!! We stopped here while driving down HWY 10 and we just really wanted something to eat. Something that wasn't fast food sounded good enough to us. So we stopped. HOLY SMOKES!! Every thing was so delicious and the service was friendly. I let the person working their select his favorite, he made a butter chicken that was out of this world. The garlic naan was SO GOOD not too garlicky! Just TASTY. We shopped around the connected mart while they made our meal. After eating I didn't feel gross like I would have with fast food. Just satisfied and warm couldn't ask for more! We will be back! HIDDEN GEM!!! This is a hidden gem for sure - the food is just so tasty. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in the US, and this one is up there among the best. For them to dish out such tasty food, out of a kitchen that is located literally in the middle of nowhere is nothing short of miraculous. read more

Delicious Indian food, but yes, it is in a lonely and rather seedy looking truck stop in the middle of nowhere. And I really mean the middle of nowhere. There is nothing at this interstate exit except for this truck stop. Nothing. And it is about 20 miles east of Van Horn, TX which itself is often described as the middle of nowhere. Probably why Bezos picked it to launch his rockets. But back to the restaurant... This is a legitimate Indian restaurant with a full menu of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Everything that I had was very flavorful. The samosas were excellent. The chana masala looked pretty unappetizing but did in fact taste great. I also tried some paneer dishes here that were delicious. Their naan however is just ok. The food is all served in takeout containers, and be warned, they do tend to leak. It is ready quickly though - 10-15 minutes. Will be back next time I'm passing through! read more

"Hidden gem" is an understatement for this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and there were so many options to choose from!! Food takes a bit to come out but it is freshly made every time. It's a trucker stop so they serve in styrofoam containers regardless of if you're dining in or taking out. No fountain drinks were available but they serve cans of soda, bottles of water, lassi, and masala chai. read more

Butter Chicken was amazing and chicken tikka was off the charts. They were so kind enough to give us water bottle free of cost and it was worth the money spent 10/10 read more
