I've been going to Maria now for the past 16ish years, I've branched out a few times over the years and gone to other stylists and always regretted it. She can look at a photo and tell me if that cut will fit my face, she can match any color, and she does an amazing up-do. From high school dances to my girlfriends wedding I know that she will fit me in and I know I will look great. She charges a good price, always fits me in even when she has a packed schedule and I refer her to all my friends. Don't knock the salon just because it's in Everett :) read more

I've been getting my hair done here with CarryAnn for years. With the covid shutdown I started going to someone near my house that had a salon in their home. He made my blonde hair orange and brassy. CarryAnn saved the day (and my hair) and made me a beautiful blonde again! I won't go anywhere else ever again. read more

When it comes to Covid procedures they could care less and it shows. There's people who aren't even wearing including the stylists! I am in shock...have your own belief but in order for you to work and make money if wearing a mask is the only thing then we should do what needs to be done in order for us to work! read more

Do not go here!!!:( the hairstylist who had COVID symptoms, Tara when she washed my hair, she smacked my mask and put a towel on my face " Not to get wet my mask". She kept telling she does not care about the virus and she will never get vaccinated. Everybody barely wear masks; clients eat while have their hair styled. The owner of the salon did not even call for an apology to that she allowed hairstylist with COVID symptoms to give people haircuts. The hairstylist also was going in to discussion about Afghans immigrants who come here and need housing...Just totally weird discussion and atmosphere. NEVER go in this place read more

I just had my facial done by Jen!! She is amazing! Jen was very friendly and extremely informative about my skin type and needs. She wasn't pushy about products which sometimes makes me uneasy. I am happy with my stylist. I have only had my hair cut at this salon. {I color my own hair} I am always comfortable in this salon. My stylist offers a beverage at each visit. Even though i dont do anything different with my hair, my stylist always asks what i want done. Great communication and i receive a courtesy call before each visit. The only negative thing i notice about the salon is its clear it hasnt been REALLY cleaned/dusted in a while! Its a modern looking salon but the staff should take more pride in maintaining the salons cleanliness! read more

I got my hair done here years ago, but had more or less forgotten about it until my stylist, Cheryl Ann, moved here recently. Of course I followed her to Platinum and am glad I did! The salon has an upbeat, friendly atmosphere and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. I just gave the nail tech, Luna, a try with a Shellac manicure. She's clean and did a fabulous job. Nail prices are similar to surrounding nail salons, but Platinum provides a nicer atmosphere than most nail salons. The only downside I see here is that given there is only one nail tech, its probably a good idea to call ahead for appointment. I look forward to a pedicure here next time I get my hair colored. read more

Kristin is the best stylist in WA for blondes period! I am naturally dark brown and she keeps me blonde and keeps my hair looking healthy too. She is a master at color and highlights, go see her! She is also sweet and hilarious, being in her chair is like having a fun hour with a friend. I have been to all of the top salons- Marco, Robert Leonard, Gene Juarez and I have not come across anyone that can make my blonde look like Kristin does. I highly, highly recommend her! Everyone that works there is sweet and funny and nice. And they also have very reasonable pricing. read more

Jenny is the nail girl at Platinum Studio Salon, SHE OVERCHARGES AND MAKES UP PRICES AS SHE GOES!!! the first time I got my nails done I also had art work done and paid $100..plus a tip! Then the 2nd time she again talked me into art work, ( It was the 4th of July, again it was $95, I also got my brows done) I thought she did a good job but her prices kept changing then she always gave the price AFTER so I'd pay it. I also assumed it was just expensive art work. I had never gotten in done before.Today I told her I didn't want art work done, she kept trying to talk me into it but I held firm, Then came time to pay for a fill, shellac, like always...$80!!! Like an idiot I paid it Then I said $80 FOR WHAT?!!! she said $15 for brows,$25 for fill $25 for SHELLAC, then she said $10 for repair, and quoted me $75, gave me back $5 I said REPAIR WHAT?!!! you put acrylic over the top of my nails sanded and polished them!! she kept stumbling over her words saying she had to repair every nail. I said What repair!!! You did a fill!!!!!! I left mad at myself again for overpaying for the 3rd time. a $35 job cost me more than double every time I saw her. The woman quotes you how much she thinks she can get you to pay, Her name is Jenny, She's The Asian lady at the salon who only does nails. read more

Not for kids! I went in with a friend and was thinking about making an appointment for myself, until I saw a woman with her son in there. The boy appeared to have autism or was on the spectrum. One of the stylists kept glaring at the boy's mom and was rude when the boy asked where the restroom was. He had not been misbehaving, and was just having a difficult time sitting still. If the stylist had not been so rude to the boy and his Mom, I would have made an appointment. Instead, my friend will not return and I will also go elsewhere. read more

I had my hair done at this salon back in February and I had the worst experience. My stylist was the owner with 20 years experience she said and she did a horrible job on my color and my cut. She had to go back and re-color my hair 3 different times because she didn't like the color. Later when I got home and saw my hair in natural light - it was a pinkish magenta tint. I was horrified - I went back a few days later to have her "fix" it and she ended up dying my hair a brown instead of the redhead that I naturally was. It was a nightmare - I had scabs on the side of my scalp from all of the chemicals. The haircut was no better - she cut it unevenly and left a bowlish effect around my ears -very unflattering - I am still growing out the damage that she did and eventually had my hair fixed yet again at another salon where they tried to salvage a decent look to get me through this drama. While I was getting my hair done - the owner had a worker putting up curtains with power tools and standing on the counters while customers were in their chairs. I was dumbfounded. Very unprofessional and strange. I will never go back and am absolutely discouraged that this experience has left me with hair that will have to recover for quite a while. read more

The owner of this salon is unprofessional and rude. She does not know how to show courtesy or respect and lacks common sense. The salon has an overall pretentious atmosphere where people have to walk on egg shells. I know personally of a number of clientele who are no longer going here because of how rudely they were treated including me. However, the hairstylists are great individuals and I did ended up following one of the stylists to a new location because she is phenomenal! read more

This salon is the absolute best. I will be a lifelong client of Vanessa's who does my cut and color. I just tell her the length I want and she does the rest, making the best cut for my face. The foil always turns out amazing and when I walk out, I feel like a million bucks. Just started getting lashes done by Lee and she is phenomenal! Let me tell you how nice it is to not have to wear mascara anymore!!!! I had a massage done (I can't remember her name) hat was THE BEST thing I've literally ever had in my life. To all the ladies that love lashes.....Lee needs to SLOW WAY DOWN . A full set of eyelash extensions no matter what applied by a certified licensed professional takes approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours....NOT 55min.......I'm horrified at the set of lashes I received. I have had my lashes done for over 10 yrs and I have never had a set done so fast with such unacceptable results. Not only were they applied WAY to close to my lash line but several and I mean several were all glued together and some single lashes had more than one extension applied. It was one of the most painful experiences ever. It took over an hour and half to even have them removed professionally and safely..after that my lashes were so DAMAGED just alone by the unprofessional way that they were applied ....Vanity lash lounge love you...not only were they highly professional they completely took care of me as well as took photos to show me how bad they were. read more
