A friend suggested Repurpose/Reuse spot. I went in there, and explained it to the attendant. He found a box of mismatched sockets, and I bought two of them FOR A DOLLAR EACH!! It worked!! My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.

Every visit is wonderful, they're both so personable and attentive, and the unique finds are phenomenal. Each visit is at least a 1.5 to 2- hour ordeal as I gab away and meticulously go through each rack (and most times double back). Madewell, J Crew, Urban Outfitters-- oh my! ...and in Gainesville, FL?! I stan. No matter when I visit, there's always something (basically everything) rare and wonderful in this store, and also I run across an amazing shoe or two. Weddings, events, and whatever-- I know I can always find some fabulous piece at Urban. The time and attention put into buying and restocking is clear and evident. The prices are great, and the sales are even better. I have run into some store hour issues post-Covid, but I am also and regrettably aware of a few health issues that make it so. I truly hope to always have this store to visit when I'm in the area. It's become a must-stop, and amazing treat that I look forward to when I'm in town.
