It is all the way at the other end of the terminal so it's probably about a 15 to 20 minute walk so be prepared for that. Once you see the Marriott/Sheridan you keep going and you'll find the Hilton/Hilton Garden Inn. Very cool entry. There was a dedicated Hilton Honors lane but no one was staffed to it so I joined the regular lane. Quickly checked in. Told about the amenities and breakfast that was included with my Diamond reservation. Went up to the executive lounge, which was pretty impressive although it was late in the day so most of the food and desserts have been picked over. We opted just to get a couple beverages and go back to our room. This might be the darkest room I've ever had anywhere across the globe. I am super sensitive to ambient light - light that comes from TVs, AC units, smoke detectors under the door, light, etc. You know - that small or green red light coming from something. This had nothing. It was absolutely dark. Water pressure great. Now most people have complained about the stationary showerhead, but if you point it towards the wall, it works pretty fine and did not flood anything and it was still comfortable to handle. Careful cause the temperature can get very hot. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room appeared clean. We didn't have a view that we could tell. It looked like it was maybe an interior view. I'm not sure if there's any view out to a runway or what not. The next day we opted for the breakfast buffet in the restaurant and it was very crowded around 8 AM. We asked for two omelettes to be made and they accommodated that request. The food looked and tasted pretty fresh. Overall there was plenty of dietary items such as gluten-free western and Asian items, etc. I'll probably is pretty decent. There were also a few airline crews in and about the property. Honestly, this is probably a great landing spot for maybe 1 to 2 night stays probably no more than four in total you can easily catch the train from the airport to get to the city. The next morning we walked into the terminal to catch our flight back to the US on United so that was also in the same terminal. Allow yourself some time for that walk as well. The room we were in was an executive king and that had the coffee and beverage bar, a small sitting area, etc. the room also had a bathtub.

Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located at the Frankfurt Airport with great access to United's…read morecheck-in. Roughly twenty minutes from the Hauptbahnhof. Large bathrooms, quiet executive lounge, and a well resourced gym and sauna make this a great choice.

I'm facing several issues with my room…read more Firstly, the air conditioning doesn't work, and they've sent me a fan without a remote control. They only have one remote for the entire household, so I can't change the room because I have many bags unpacked and I'll be leaving in the next seven hours. Secondly, the refrigerator in my room doesn't work, and they've allowed me to use the refrigerator in the house. Thirdly, some outlets in my room don't work. Fourthly, the staff at the club lounge is extremely rude and unprofessional. For example, he brings food for everyone and tells them what he's bringing, but for us, he just drops it down at the table and walks away. When I asked him what he was doing, he told me to go read at the counter. I was shocked and asked him why. He said, "Whatever he just said, it's getting better." Are you serious? How can you let this kind of behavior happen to your high-paying members? (By the way, I don't know him; we've never spoken. I just saw him doing this.) I've talked to the managers about all these problems, and they apologized. However, I'm not sure if the staff who worked at the club will be replaced. (This incident occurred on October 5, 2026.) I hope the problems are resolved, but I haven't received any feedback yet.

I think this is a great hotel and the club for Bonvoy members also had a nice breakfast (way better…read morethan in the U.S.) The room as good and location is ideal ... with one fatal flaw: Getting to the other terminal. Why is there a shuttle bus that holds, like 50 people, but they shoehorn on 80? And finding the bus was an adventure. This set-up was so bad it was one of the things I remember the most and that is not good. Fix that issue and I would modify my review to a 4 or 5 star.

Plus rooms ready for us. This is a dig at the airport because I overheard a fellow layover pal say they know these missed flights happen often due to short connection times at Frankfurt airport...yikes........ The hotel itself is nice inside, trendy and clean. Staff was friendly too. They gave us tickets to use the bus shuttle for the airport. Dinner was good, I got a schnitzel and a beer. Plus they were airing the world cup on the screen. Only thing was the room was super hot despite having and AC, like super hot and humid. Plus limited tolitries in the room. Overall fine stay at the airport hotel but I'm glad I didn't pay for this one....

Because we'd basically only be sleeping at the hotel, we opted for a no-frills experience. On our list of must-haves? Close proximity to the airport. Free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport. A bar with snacks/light food. A spacious family-sized room with 2 beds. Affordable. Dog friendly! IBIS checked off all of these requirements and more. The hotel is clean, modern and so accommodating to those of us who travel with pets. Check in was fast and friendly, and our room was quite spacious for the price and came stocked with everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We ordered a few glasses of wine (yay, decent rosé!) at the bar to take back to our hotel room, though we didn't eat there as we enjoyed fine German fare before heading to the hotel. However, I did note they serve sandwiches and burgers so you can have a hot meal and they offer a breakfast buffet though we left too early to take advantage. A super solid experience for about $120 (3 adults + a dog!).
