He couldn't stop talking about this place for the longest time afterward. He was passionate about it. Heck, even I was impressed what they have on display. It's a skateboarder's dream. As far as gear for skateboarders and extreme sports enthusiasts goes, it rates up there. It's a really nice independently run sporting goods shop. While it's small, it packs a punch when it comes to customer service. That's what key here- great service that isn't easy to find at larger stores. I like that. My nephew would have spent his entire savings account here if his parents had let him. He was in awe of everything. They do really have a terrific selection of high quality and custom merchandise. If you're an extreme sports nut, a skateboarding teenager who lives and breathes jumping half pipes or even anybody with more than a passing interest in various recreational sports, then this is the place to scratch that itch. It's more expensive than larger corporate owned stores, but the great service is where it counts. They carry skateboards, some general sports equipment, shoes and apparel and so much more. If they don't have it, they will steer you down the right path and have great advice. They aren't open late, so that's a definite drawback, but it's worth the extra effort to make a trip during their business hours.

They assisted me in finding a bow at the price point I was comfortable with and at the indoor range they spent almost an hour tuning the bow to my needs and gave me shooting tips as I am new to the sport. I left with everything I needed to start shooting and they encouraged me to come back if I ever had any questions or if something was not working as expected. Really love the Backstage section of our local Macy's…read more... I know not every Macy's has a Backstage section, so we're particularly happy our local one has it. My husband and I shop in Macy's a lot, and we've been shopping quite a bit lately in this particular corner of the store. It has everything from clothing (men's, women's, babies and kid's), perfume, jewelry and handbags to kid's toys, decor, candy, cosmetics, skincare, men's grooming, luggage, housewares and phone accessories and giftware.. and the prices are great. I like that the same store return policy and credit, Macy's points and star rewards still work (as they do in the regular Macy's.. The selection is great/ and clearance prices are crazy. I picked up some Aldo shoes for next to nothing and my husband and I picked up new Karl Lagerfeld luggage here this past spring that was cute and low priced..they also sell Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Karl Lagerfeld handbags on occasion.... I still needed to have my rings resized again elsewhere.. they did not have the rings ready when I came in just before close on the date they were to be done- their jeweler was still refining work on the rings and we had to wait.. My husband and I had two other rings resized here and both were routine - however, the more intricate and pricey repairs to my other rings did not go smoothly.. and i definitely say it was over priced.. However, the sales people are very nice and they have beautiful jewelry- they even have a good array of Pandora. They've since then done a few appraisals for me on other pieces and those experiences were okay. Overall, a nice store with lovely staff but I should've taken the larger repair elsewhere.. as it was, I had to get the rings resized at a separate jeweler..

They actually had a very large selection of the bracelets and charms, running mostly between $28-$50, including an interesting array of Valentine's Day theme charms. The customer service was excellent, they even offered gift wrap. Other than Alex and Ani, they also had a huge line of Pandora (which my wife loves), including some "last chance clearance" items, plus a nice array of Tacori. I usually use Kay Jewelers for most jewelry purchases, but this Medawar impressed me. They also do on site jewelry and watch repair. I might bring my vintage Longines watch here for repairs. I would like to get that watch repaired locally, as opposed to taking it to a store that I don't shop in regularly. I'm glad to see Medawar can do it here.
