I was not aware that Marshalls was so Winners-esque but I had somewhat of a wardrobe emergency and threw caution to the wind! Lo and behold (and much to my surprise), I found exactly what I was looking for within minutes! I'm a focused shopper. I was there on a mission and in a hurry. I don't have time to aimlessly wander a store like this but I guess the clothing gods were shining down on me because I was in and out within ten minutes. The ladies at the cash were super friendly and efficient, which helped me with my speedy escape. Interesting. Who would have thought?

Good selection in the sales area and neatly organized. The store itself is also really clean all the time - neat and tidy too. Unlike other store locations, their change rooms here aren't filled with dust bunnies, so I actually feel comfortable to use the change rooms. They also have bathrooms available for their customers given that it's a plaza and bathrooms aren't readily available for non-staff at most places.

This store is well laid out and the staff are always friendly. Reitmans always carries good quality clothes for a great price and it's nice to be able to shop in a Canadian owned business when we seem to be surrounding ourselves with the American conglomerates. I've always purchased both work and casual clothes from Reitmans but at the Morningside location, which is technically closer to me, but this Ajax location has a fantastic selection so it's nice to have the choice.

The store is set up like a warehouse, but very organized and clothing is categorized by both price and occasion (wedding attire toward the back, part in the center and casual in the front). They sell complete outfits off the rack, lehenga skirts, sari/lehenga tops, dupattas, mens sherwani's, mens vests, kids clothing and can custom make virtually anything! They also usually have a tailor on site who can help with any adjustments required. The family that run the store (husband, wife and daughter) are very helpful and kindly greet and offer assistance as soon as you enter. The husband helped us the first time, and even though my sister can be very specific he was sure to clarify her needs and budget and show us multiple items. The second time we dealt with the wife (Ginni, such a kind lady) and she was awesome! She suggested mixing and matching tops and skirts and dupattas to maximize outfits and wearing...how great! She even went into the change room with my sister helped her dress, and reassured her that she looked great! I appreciate that they will never gauge you for money, they seem to genuinely enjoy what they do! I highly recommend them for all your indian outfit needs!

So we drove there and as I stood outside I called the number on the door and the wife answered and said it's ok come on in. We were happy because it was cold outside, anyway we went in and she helped my daughter find an outfit and help her in the fitting room. Her husband (Sunny) was very helpful to, we bought the outfit and we are very pleased with the service that was provided. We will be going back there to buy some more outfits for a wedding.

You do not see the styles or end of season clothes from the regual stores at the outlets any longer. The prices are simular to the regular stores when they have a sales on and that is frequently. I came in today to help a friend with finding her prom dress (I've already found mine). Though we…read moredidn't find THE dress, it's a good store to consider when looking for prom dresses. The lady working there was very nice, she let us look on our own and was always there to help you clip up your dress if you needed to which is especially nice since some boutiques have the workers breathing down your neck. The place is really clean, you have to leave your shoes at the door and there's a little basket of slippers underneath one of the chairs for you to use. The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands.
