It has very good pricing and a great selection of games and consoles. Consoles generally range from the Atari VCS (2600) to seventh generation (360, DS, Wii, PS3). Consoles come with one controller and the attachments needed to hook the system up to a TV. The console software is pretty extensive, starting with the NES and running up through 7th gen. Most of the handheld is Gameboy and DS. Once again, their selection is rather well rounded. Some of the more premium titles are located in the display case back by the register. There are also some rare curiosities in the collection that were pleasant surprises ( I never expected to see a full catalog of Virtual Boy software on display anywhere ). Something to be aware of is that any retro purchases can sometimes not work out. We have had one GBA cart and an XBOX cd fail to start when trying out the software at home. The store has a very generous return policy. I believe as long as you bring back the title within 10, they will accept returns and exchanges. The staff is very friendly and will always try to help out. In our cases, the store gave us a direct exchange on the scratched XBOX disc after trying to repair it instore, and a full refund for the GBA game. The store also has other typical collections (Trading Card Games, Funko Pops and other figurines). These are not my area of expertise, so I can't comment on the selection or prices. Several arcade machines are set on free-to-play mode at the store entrance to round out the experience. If vintage video games are your thing, then Retro Loot is definitely worth checking out.

After checking out the card store, we saw a game store on the other side of the building. Since we…read morehad already parked we decided to check it out. Entrance is a little tricky to get too so park on the side near the card store and walk around to the front of the building. Upon entering we were greeted with a HUGE selection of games, everything from NES to current Xbox, PS5 and Switch. Even had some cabinet games you could try out. Behind the counter they had some harder to find titles and some tables between rows was like a mini nerd yard sale with figures, books, crafts, etc. Husband picked up a gunpla model kit from 1980s, I got pokemon pinball for my game boy and some DS games I had been looking for. Price wise was about what I expected for what I got, seemed about middle of the road. On the left side of the building is a DVD section and fairly expansive comic book selection. Husband looked over what they had but nothing really stood out, we mostly came for the retro games. Guy behind the counter was super helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had about their stock and condition of the games. If we're in the area I plan on stopping back in and seeing what new stock they have on hand.

Unfortunately, pricing was generally 10-20% higher than price charting. I get it - brick and mortar, bills, employees, costs, etc. It's a hard market. Though, most of my local stores are beating price charting and offering various deals or buy 2 get 1 free. I didn't see anything like that here but maybe I missed it... In general they carry a wide selection of retro to new console games. I found games on every system that I'd like to acquire. Beyond that they had an array of figures, strategy guides, records and toys. Really cool place to check out. They even had an N64 Sculptors Cut which is super rare. I loved the inventory, the people and everything about the place.

Kyle, Jake C. and Nicky were very kind and checked the inventory in depth to find the one controller they had in stock, for 20 dollars the controller was in excellent condition. Seems to have a good selection of games especially and an assortment of retro controllers which is better than most, will be back next time I am in the area going forward.
