Almost gone. But you can kind of see the granola.
    Xia B.

Yes, it's pricey. Now that that's out-of-the-way, let's talk about the quality. It's so hard to find healthy food spots that have that fresh crisp pop taste. Other spots have soggy vegetables and fruits. But Playa Bowls is very fresh. It's so good, I ordered a whole bag of their blueberry granola. $20 and worth it! Sprinkled it on top of my parfait for weeks.

Tropical acai bowl with extra almonds and hemp

I've been obsessed with acai bowls after trying them on Oahu and this place was pretty good in comparison. First off I love the huge menu and options. I wish I lived close by so I could try all the fruit bases. The coconut interests me the most. I got the tropical acai bowl and I really loved it. I really loved the fruit on top it tasted really good and fresh. I personally found the acai base a bit sweeter than what I'm used to, but still really good. I found the size good for the price as fruit is very pricy nowadays. I found the quality worth the price. I also really liked the chill tropical vibe of the place and its decor.

    Stupid Cupid- Special Bowl
    Daniel G.

This place is nice and chill on the inside and the customer service is good. There is ALOT on the menu and it can be overwhelming. I got the stupid Cupid bowl but they forgot the white chocolate which was disappointing. The bowl was okay and filling. I got a smoothie there too, the Aloha it wasn't the best but it was okay. 3/5 for that. This place also has juiced beverages and it think I'd like them more tbh. Not a bad spot, prices are fair.

Love that the essence of coconut comes through and isn't too sweet--it balances so well with the açaí.

Shoutout to this Veteran-owned, female entrepreneur!!!…read more Sincerely grateful for a place that serves substance and excellence . Not only is it fresh, you can tell that thought and care goes into how each bowl is artfully arrayed and put together. The cold-pressed juices are a perfected balance of sweet and flavor (for those that would balk at the thought of drinking greens). The young ladies at the counter are patient, helpful, and don't try to rush you through. Might I add, Respectful, (which these days seems to be a scarcity in customer service). The place is clean, has ample seating and comfy chairs if you chose to linger a bit longer. We were long overdue for a "real food" kind of spot.

This has been a regular spot for me, since I discovered them in Heights. The service is always excellent. Her servers are always extremely patient and ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have about the menu, I love that! I also love that you can get a fresh fruit smoothie bowl anytime of day, and their choices for bases are plentiful. If you haven't already; check them out and give them a try. Kudos, as this business is not only veteran owned, but it's female owned! Support local, keep our communities, thriving.

It has been a few years since my husband and I tried this place (*think it just opened when we…read morefirst tried it in 2022). Back then, my husband was not happy, you could not order coffee at the table, you had to go to the other side and get coffee and then bring to to the table if you wanted breakfast. Well, a LOT has changed with this place since then. #1...they will bring you what ever coffee you want to order, and they will pick up from next door and bring it to you (husband was happy about that). #2, they now serve lunch and dinner (*we didn't try that yet, but will be back to try that later). Now, Rebecca our server was so nice! She put up with my husband's "shanigans", as he always tries to joke about with everyone! He was hungry, so got the "Big Ol' Breakfast", which had your eggs, half a ham steak, sausage, bacon (Oh, sooo good) breakfast potatoes (could have been just a little more "crisped up), and pancakes!! He cleaned his plate!! LOL! I had (and did not realize until I read my last review, I had "half" of same I ordered before), the Benedict Sampler (where you can choose TWO of benedicts). I got the "Southwest Steak" (*which is what I had last time..LOL), ohhh soo good! If you like "Spicy"...get this...the green chiles and cilantro-lime sauce make this dish! Then, the other one was the "Golden State" with tomato, bacon and avocado (*and little spice too with Siracha sauce on top), and also had the very good breakfast potatoes! Rebecca checked on us often, and we were both glad we came back to this place! We will be back again!

I ordered PB Cafe through Uber Eats because it was a little too far for me to drive, but their menu…read morelooked SO good and I was really craving a classic breakfast. Unfortunately, I left feeling a little underwhelmed. I ordered the cinnamon French toast, chicken fried steak, biscuits, and a side of gravy. Overall, I thought everything was a bit underseasoned and just didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for. I was especially disappointed by the French toast because the name was a little misleading. I was expecting a classic, soft brioche-style French toast, but it was actually made with what tasted more like cinnamon rolls. It ended up being much denser and firmer than I expected, and it just wasn't the texture I look for when I order French toast. I also thought it was a little strange that they didn't include ketchup with the order since that's something I feel like most breakfast places automatically throw in, especially with a delivery order. I know Uber Eats can sometimes affect the overall experience, but I also wasn't impressed with how everything was packaged. Some of the food had spilled out by the time it arrived, which made the meal feel a little sloppy before I even started eating.
