Nutaya- Pitaya Bowl* Nutelloco- Coconut Bowl*
Christina W.

It was my first time having a Pitaya bowl and it was the best! I was warmly greeted and the menu was thoroughly explained to me. I ended up trying the Nutella bowl with a Pitaya base and it was so refreshing. The store was clean and welcoming. I would most definitely recommend this location.

So this one messed me up for a bit. I had to try out the oatmeal bowl which I nevered had. It is on the money. I really enjoy how healthy these bowls are and how they make you feel when you finish them. Good stuff. Live, love, and laugh. - Sha

Updating with a photo of the bowl since I forgot to snap a picture before eating it during my 1st visit. Yummy!

Um hi Playa Bowls, seems like we're going to be best friends. SO SO SO GOOD. Got a green power bowl. It was excellent. I can't wait to explore the entire menu. Goodbye paycheck.

Go to playa wayyyy to often but always so good!! Usually switch off between power bowl and Nutella bowl, should definitely branch off and try new bowls. This location can get busy so I do order ahead usually. Pricey bowls but such a great treat!

I was in the mood for some Playa Bowls. Not the first time eating a Playa Bowl but definitely the first time at this location in Hoboken. Well it was a lovely experience say the least. Cute decorations just like their other Playa Bowls location. My boyfriend and I shared a Nutella Açaí bowl because let's be honest, i can't eat one alone since they are pretty generous. The Nutella açaí now is my favorite because it has strawberries, banana, granola and coconut. We decided to stay and eat it there. They do have seats were you can sit indoors. Make sure to social distance as that is still important. I can't wait to go back and try a different bowl. Even though the Nutella one was delicious and is still my favorite! Super yummy and definitely recommend.

Half electric mermaid pitaya bowl, half power bowl açaí bowl! Delicious!

Came here for a quick dessert and this is my first time getting an açaí bowl! I got half power bowl and half electric mermaid bowl. This was recommended by the worker there and it was a great choice! I actually liked the power bowl more cause it has a banana based flavor which was delicious! The kiwis were really soft and juicy and it stuck out to me for some reasons haha! Very great snack and very refreshing !

Boy, where do I start. If 0 stars existed, that would've said more than what I'm about to write. I had to scrape the green mix off my da*n fruit. It tasted like they had the kitchen in the bathroom. They used the toilet bowl flush to blend the mix. As seen in this picture, I barely touched the mix. I'm about to let it melt. Go here if you want some urine tasting fruit bowls.

Power Acai Bowl with Strawberries ($11)

Being from Hawaii, I have pretty high expectations when it comes to acai bowls and Playa Bowls was better than I expected! I ordered the Power Bowl with strawberries instead of bananas and almond butter instead of peanut butter. The acai smoothie was tasty and super thick, which is how I like it! Portions and toppings were pretty generous as well. I got hungry a few hours later though, so I wouldn't say it's sufficient for a meal if you're hungry. Overall, I'd definitely return to Playa Bowl if I'm needing an acai bowl fix!

Açaí bowls! Along with other options. You can go wrong with playa. There's a lot of variations in Hoboken and near by cities. Average price for a bowl is $10. I had the "power" açaí bowl. Great refreshing taste.

I really enjoy the acai bowl from this place, keeping ordering it for almost one year. The fruits are fresh and the size is great.

A lot…read moreof the bread and pastries were sold out, but I had no idea since there were so many other shops further closer to the entrance and this particular shop was towards the middle or back. Nevertheless, the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful and we ended up getting a blueberry coffee cake slice as well as some walnut bread slice that looked more like a hummingbird cake slice and two different breads that were simply delicious!! The gentleman actually said he was from Oakland, Oakland, California, so that was funny to me since I'm from the Bay Area also. Ambience in the store was very clean and rustic and if they weren't closing so soon I would've stayed to enjoy my pastry, but we had just finished eating at the Japanese taco spot down the street or alleyway? So look for my review on that! I can't wait to go back to Amy's bread and try more of their actual loaves of breads, as well as their pastries!!

There are never enough people working behind the counter, and even when there is one person in front of me it takes forever. Also, there is no clear indication where the beginning of the line forms so people are always cutting - intentionally and unintentionally. The last five times I wanted to buy something, I ended up leaving without making a purchase in order to get back to work in time. Frustrating!
