I generally love playa bowls and would give them like a 4.5 or a 5. And this one, it's perfectly located by the beach. On top of that, the workers are typically accommodating and friendly. However, it is slow and it's small inside so you tend to stand for a long time to wait for your food. There are tables outside but you can't hear your name called from out there and they tend to not step outside to call for you. I am usually waiting for my food along with others in front of the menu board, knowing that I am blocking others' view of the menu. 8/15/2023 I hate to write a less than positive review but owners need feedback. I love Playa Bowls and frequent the business when in the area. Unfortunately yesterdays experience was poor. My son opted to order online and got a pick up time of 9:38- we ordered 3 bowls- coco craze and 2 puravida and I think one of those had Nutella added. Anyway we went to Playa Bowls at the pick up time and our order was nowhere near ready. My son told us we were at least three orders away from them working on ours. When we finally got our bowls at 10 AM the bases were soupy and melty. The fruit quality was delicious but the base should not be soupy. The problem is that one worker set up the bowls while someone else finished the fruit-toppings, etc. they were busy and obviously can't handle the volume. Consequently our bowls suffered in the process. I think for the three bowls my son spent close to 50$. I noticed the other day I was there that there really wasn't a sense of urgency by the people behind the counter to complete orders either. I might be finished with playa bowls this trip. We'll see. I still love the vibe and the food- I would've liked a better experience- I guess I got spoiled all those other times. read more

i've been to this location twice and have left disappointed both times. first time, the acai base only filled half of my bowl while the friends i was with recieved a normal amount of acai in their bowl. second time, i paid an additional fee to add an ingredient to my bowl and they took away one of the original toppings!! açaí was good, but was disappointed both times as they have left me unsatisfied. read more

Normally my go to Playa is Sea Isle (5 stars all day, no complaints) but I had a killer experience at Stone Harbor! The store manager Chelsea was an absolute sweetheart, kept the store running fast and efficient! Happy to stop here anytime I'm further south. read more

This was a great breakfast, I got the "Nutella" bowl with half pitaya base and half acai. Went around 9:00am and there was already a line but our bowls were made quickly. The staff was very polite. My complaint is that their social media instagram account did not accurately reflect their hours. I had been waiting all week to come and according to Instagram they were going to be open, and I didn't get a response on Instagram message for over a day. Only three customers can be in the store at one time, but the line moves fast, and they make the orders fast. I had the Coco Craze bowl - so delicious! Nice, thick smoothie that you need a spoon to eat (not a friggin' straw, like some places), plentiful toppings, and fresh ingredients. This place checks all of the boxes. I am usually a HUGE fan of playa bowls and I have been coming here for ever!!! Especially to the Stone Harbor location, I am a pretty patient customer as well but the customer service from the teenagers working at this store is shameful. The most judgmental tween was running the register she could not have been more rude and when I went to pick up my order and asked if it was mine (because she didn't tell me) she laughed and continued to give attitude and tone. As an adult, I would really enjoy to not be given attitude by thirteen year olds who have no social skills so be prepared to deal with moody teens when shopping here read more

I LOVE this location for playa bowls, it's perfect for pictures and super yummy. The WAIT though takes at least 20 minutes, but it depends on which day you go. Had the Nutella bowl which was very good. the pitya bottom had a banana flavor which was not overly sweet which made it refreshing. A sweeter option is the açaí bowl and was very tasty as well. About 10-11$ per bowl read more

Bowls are great. But they don't honor their opening hours. They posted that for their last weekend they would be open until 2, and I arrived at 12 and was rudely turned away by the staff.
