We got a large Pitaya Bowl to share but we were disappointed when we saw how boring it was decorated in granola and some bananas, drizzled with honey. I make my own açai bowls at home, but they're nowhere near as pretty or amazing as most of the places that sell them. It became bland to eat after a few bites when we realized that all we were gonna eat was granola and a few slices of bananas. The smoothie itself wasn't bad but honestly, I felt like they could've put in a little more effort into presentation, rather than smothering it with some plain granola (especially since they had a billion fresh pineapples at their seating bar). I'm sure when they advertised the strawberries in the bowl, they probably meant it would be mixed in the smoothie--not as a topping. Perhaps it was just this one bowl that was so bland in toppings, but seriously, $13 is not cheap for a smoothie bowl that should yield for just two plain toppings! Finally some healthy food on the boardwalk!!! I was so happy that I stumbled upon Aloha Smoothie when walking the boards one night. I was excited to see the menu and the girls making the smoothies in action. I instantly noticed that they use real fruit and ingredients in their smoothies (no fake fruit juice here). The next day I ended my 90 minute bike ride with a trip to Aloha for a breakfast bowl. I ordered the Pure Rio and it was refreshing, healthy and delicious. Most items cost around the $10 which can be a little pricey, but I personally think it's priceless when eating healthy foods. Aloha is located on the same pier as The Great White roller coaster. There are other game stands and food trucks in front of the shop so it tucked away. Even though the rides do not open until later in the day Aloha opens around 9am and serves healthy treats until 10/11pm. The owners are very active on Instagram and Facebook. HORRIBLE. I will never go again. Ordered a Rio bowl and paid extra for more bananas and also ordered blueberries. After paying they came back and said they had no blueberries. After waiting 30 minutes for my Rio bowl, they did not give me the additional bananas I ordered. I had to ask for them and then they dumped rotten banana pieces on top. I had to ask again for bananas that weren't rotten. They use rotten fruit and I witnessed them using rotten kale or spinach in a smoothie. Ended up paying a fortune and throwing it away, such a waste. The employees are not motivated and seem to hate what they are doing. Avoid this place. read more

I went here to escape the fatty greasy food on the boardwalk and was very excited to try their take on the açaí bowls. I ordered the rio bowl and my boyfriend got the strawberry banana smoothie. It took them a while to make the order but I was not too happy. The girl made it in front of me and used frozen açaí. When I got my order I only had 5 slices of banana on my bowl....mind you they had almost 100 bananas on the counter and they didn't even give me a full one. When I was eating my bowl half of the açaí was still frozen and clumped up. This place charges the same amount as their competitors playa bowls but their quality is way poorer in comparison. The staff was very nice when ordering but they didn't make much conversation when we were all standing in front of the stand for about 10 minutes deciding on what to order. First time ever ordering one of these bowls and will be back for more. We ordered a pataya bowl and a monkey bowl. The location on the board walk was very easy to find (on the first pier directly in front of all the rides) the place even had some chairs set up bar style to sit at the hut and enjoy your bowls without having to walk around and use one of the public benches that were all taken. From the other reviews we got the Rio bowls that have the amazing Acai berry in it. Wow were they good and filling. We also had a banana bean smoothie, yummy. And also got a Green Hero smoothie for the walk on the boardwalk. All very good. I was going to leave but being GF and DF, I don't have a lot of options on the boardwalk. The girl finally took my order and then I waited another 15 min before I actually got my smoothie!! The girls started making other orders before mine even though I ordered first. To say I was pissed is an understatement. The manager needs to run a tighter ship. Best place ever!!! I'm not one to write reviews but I went here the other day and had such a good experience!! I was instantly greeted by the two young girls working there and they were so friendly & helpful. They made the smoothie bowls fast and the presentation of them was very good. My group ordered a jungle bowl and monkey bowl and they were so delicious I was scraping the bowl for more. I really enjoyed the smoothie bowl I had, however 3/4 of the way through I found almonds in the granola--I'm allergic to almonds. It would've been nice to know in advance that the granola contained tree nuts because then I would've gotten my bowl without it and saved myself a bunch of trouble. The bowls in general are also fairly expensive for what you're getting. At $10 for a small I should be able to get one additional topping. read more

This is the healthiest place I've seen on the boardwalk. I got two piña colada smoothies , one with almond milk and the other with soy milk. The almond milk made it taste pretty much like milk but the soy milk actually made the smoothie sweeter so I definitely recommend soy milk. I was disappointed that they didn't use ice to make it like an actual smoothie. The prices are high for what you get but everything is overpriced all throughout wildwood .
