The drinks choices at the Bar was very good although most were Spanish equivalent of International Drinks. The entertainment staff were very good and created a good holiday atmosphere. I stayed in the Annex which is situated across the car park from main Hotel, we even had a full kitchen, only used for morning tea and coffee, but it was handy as was the fridge. The beach is across a quiet to moderately busy coast road and is excellent. Would not hesitate to return to this Hotel.

The beach is clean, easy to get to from the city centre, and has a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy the sea, sunshine, or simply take a walk along the promenade. This small but pleasant beach is just to the left of the Balcon de Europe and the closest beach to…read moremy hotel, so naturally I spent the most time here. It wasn't quite yet high tourist season, so was it still easy to find yourself a spot. Its mostly tourists but there are some local Spaniards relaxing along side. The water is calm and looked clean enough for some pleasant swimming. The sand is more rocky than fine, so bring flip flops. And beer! There's a section where you can rent lounge chairs. Topless sunbathing supposedly isn't allowed, but no one is there to enforce the rules, so you might see some boobs, just like any other European beach(A warning for the sensitive "proper" British wives). The abandoned restaurant is creepy yet fascinating, and not nearly as creepy as the few drugged out homeless hippies you might see. But overall, I spent a several hours here happy, relaxed, and slightly intoxicated. Cheers! TRAVEL TIP: Spain has some beautiful beaches along the Costa del Sol, but most of the water is actually polluted due to inadequate sewage systems. Don't drink the water!

You get a perfect view of the ocean, and the random kitties that walk around the paved path by the beach. My go-to drink everyday was a screwdriver, it was made with fresh orange juice every time, truly amazing! The people working there were just as amazing, sweetest people and the best service I received while in Spain. They remembered me and would bring me my drink upon arrival. Way to make a girl feel special! Not sure if I will ever return to Málaga, but I ever find myself in that area again I will for sure be back!
