While waiting, I noticed two local things - the stage for the ECU Pirate Radio show, which airs live at this location on Mondays, and just a few tables away from me WNCT's Sportscaster legend Brian Bailey! From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome from Jess, Jen, Ang, and of course Quinn, depending on who's working. They are all fantastic, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like you're at home rather than just another customer. What really sets this place apart is not only the staff but also the people who come in. As newcomers to Rocky Mount, we weren't sure what to expect, but the regulars and locals have been incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's rare to find a place where both the staff and customers make you feel like part of the community from day one. One experience that truly shows how much they care was when we were having trouble getting an Uber home because the driver couldn't find where we lived (yes, lol!). So, I added the listing to Yelp. Once, I arrived, I pulled into the parking lot and coincidentally parked close to Cooper Greers pickup truck. I asked him about the place and what kinds of music he plays. Anyway, he talked me into coming inside and I was very glad I did. He put on a great show. He indeed has a great band. I would definitely go see him again. They also have a bunch of TVs in here including some big ones that had live sports ball games on them at the time of visiting.
