How am I only finding out about this place?…read more After stopping into Burke Street pizza for the first time, the retro signage on the door caught my eye and we had to go and check it out. I was immediately welcomed by a wall of pokémon themed collectibles and a christmas tree decorated with the like. So cute! It was also really neat to see these retro games and consoles that could really take front and center stage. Unlike other used game stores, they really elevated and gave these a more dignified showcasing of value. Had me questioning whether I should be selling my old game boy games and consoles! Seems to be a market for this and I'm glad to see it. Felt like walking into an EB Game store for me. Shows how long I've been around. Sheesh.

Having been their first market, I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but there was clear communication from Sherri from the start, leading up to the day of. They were very clear on set up instructions, where to park, and all the details needed. Their vendor booth fee was very reasonable, and they even provided a gift bag to each vendor with small gifts and a bag of snacks and water to get through the day (a first for me). The show had some good foot traffic, again, for being the first of its kind. I'm excited to do more events with them, and would recommend!

A major thing I noticed this time was the price in Funkos have gone up and no longer reasonable, which sucks. Still only 4 total long shelf stands of Funkos and nothing really new or stands out. Still has a lot of variety there with the nostalgic video games themselves, anime products, and some plush. Was hoping they'd have more selection of statues.

This is a great store for general gaming needs and particularly if you play Magic the gathering or…read moreother card games. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and there is an excellent amount of space to play. I'm also a big fan of the fact that they have a small selection of out-of-print preowned role-playing games which is one of the main reasons that I continue to come back and check in at the store periodically. The only thing that prevents this from being a perfect review is the fact that they do not keep their games workshop products well stocked. For the models this is somewhat understandable however the last two times that I've gone in there they don't even have any of the citadel spray primer which I consider something that a gaming store should have on hand 100% of the time. And during my last visit when my wife inquired when more spray primer might be available they were unable to give an answer saying only "we don't have the money to order any more at the moment so it could be a few weeks"
