This is our families first experience with daycare and it has been truly wonderful because of the staff at Lightbridge Academy. Ms Jackie, the Director, genuinely cares about each and every student. And it's not just evident in words but in the children's bond with her. The staff at Lightbridge is unbelievably accommodating where they can be. The teachers seem to genuinely care and are kind. I visited many daycare in the area and never felt places were clean enough. They would "seem" clean but I just walked away not feeling totally satisfied with cleanliness. We had a nanny before and it was a big step to take him somewhere more public and exposed to germs. Lightbridge always feels clean and well kempt. From the first day until now I consistently felt comfortable that my son is in a clean and healthy environment. I also like that the children are engaged in meaningful learning activities each day. They're not just put in a room to run around. I like that the children have autonomy and structure at the same time. The day has structured learning activities built into their age appropriate groups. You can see the children's artwork along the walls as you walk through. I'm so glad I found this place. I rest easy at work knowing he is in a caring environment where he is also evolving mentally and socially. This school is a true gem and I'm so thankful for Ms Jackie and all of her staff.

Our family recently went through an unexpected TERMINATION at iPlusOneAcademy with only THREE days'…read morenotice. We are heartbroken and feel deeply sorry for what our child, and the other children who were also impacted, have had to go through. The 2025 school calendar did not include a February winter break. A winter break was newly introduced in 2026, and the winter camp program was added shortly before the break, during a week that was originally scheduled to be closed according to the academy's school year calendar. More than ten parents collectively raised concerns and requested clarification from the academy regarding the basis for this decision. Subsequent to the meeting between the parents and the director, the academy implemented a new policy addendum mandating parental signatures as a prerequisite for continued enrollment. The original agreement signed in the beginning of the school year did not include any terms addressing the academy's right to amend or modify its policies. The new policy addendum imposed limitations on parents' ability to collectively voice concerns about school policies and restricted their freedom to share honest reviews online. We did not consent to the policy and did not provide our signatures. The academy issued a termination notice merely 10 days after introducing the new policy. Following receipt of the termination notice, we formally requested an in-person meeting with the director to seek clarification regarding the circumstances and explore the possibility of resolving the matter. However, all of our efforts were declined, and we were notified in writing that communication would be restricted solely to email. The academy provided us with only a 3-day notice of termination, despite its own policy requiring a 30-day notice should a family choose to withdraw voluntarily. Arranging a new childcare on such a short notice caused a significant strain for our family emotionally and physically. Our child did not have any behavioral issues at school, and no payment issues. We strongly believe that when misunderstandings or disagreements arise between parents and a school, open communication and mutual understanding should be prioritized. However, in our experience, was more of a unilateral decision by the academy. Based on our two years of experience at this academy, we believe that the focus was placed primarily on tuition and fees rather than fostering a child-centered environment. We recommend that any family considering enrollment seek feedbacks from current and former families before making a decision. I truly feel like they love and care about the children they teach! It's a very clean space, with finger scan security entry, loving teachers... Just yesterday I was was in need of someone to watch my 6 year old ( who was a former student) for the day while I was at work. I reached out to Michelle, after hours on Friday of Labor Day weekend. Michelle allowed me to bring my daughter in for the day as a drop in. This was a lifesaver! I highly recommend Loving Touch!

I leave Loving Touch with a smile knowing that my child and all of the other children are happy and well taken care of. There isn't a better feeling in the world for a working parent than trusting the place your child is and knowing that they are happy. Loving touch is friendly, loving, professional, and has a home feel. They ensure communication and education. A wonderful engaging environment. His teacher Aneta is a dream. She's incredibly compassionate, patient, empathetic, loving and above all genuine. There is no one else like her and my son loves her truly. This week has been difficult trying to find childcare for my daughter for spring break. Bright Horizons has been notifying me there is no placement in my area. Imagine my surprise when I saw Lightbridge Academy- Westwood pop up as placement. I was thrilled since my son goes there it would be perfect to have my daughter there for 4 days for 4hrs a day. I spoke to the assistant director this morning and told her I was surprised they were listed as a center. I told her I submitted a request for my daughter for the following week..and asked if she could confirm my daughter can be at the same center as my son. She said she'd look into it. I said do you mind letting me know sooner rather than later since it's Friday and I need to lock in childcare for my daughter..her response "I'll look into it" ..I was thinking to myself ..wouldn't she say "of course" and try her best to assist especially since my son already is enrolled at this academy for several months...As I turned to leave, I said to her again do you mind letting me know by 3pm ET today. and her response "I'll look into it... I already knew my daughter was not going to be taken at this center for the 4days with Marisa's lack of enthusiasm and her apparent annoyance at my request. I'm truly disappointed in Marisa. As a working mother like herself..I wish in that moment she put herself in my shoes but instead I didn't leave the building yet..and her and her colleague at the greeters window were talking about me behind my back. Who I am is a mother who needed help for 4 days- for 4 hrs per day ...and instead of trying to accommodate a parent who already has one of her child enrolled at their center...Marisa called me and told me sorry we don't have placement. (There was NO surprise there) ...I told her I was already notified by Bright Horizons. I told her I'm disappointed and it's unfortunate..she apologized she couldn't do anything ...I have worked with Bright Horizons for over 7years ..accommodations could be met especially for a parent who has a child already enrolled in the center. That's who they accommodate first (siblings). Marisa said it's nothing personal. I hope she understands my review is not personal. I wish they had more Aneta's in the world ..and above all I wish there were more Aneta's at Lightbridge Academy-Westwood. The world would certainly be a happier, friendlier, kinder place.
