This is a very big playground with a lot of space to even play sports. It has bathrooms and sitting areas all over. There's also a huge gazebo where people host parties. My daughter loved this playground. There is something for everyone. From toddlers to teens, it really is a well thought of playground. It does get crazy park toward the weekends, especially in the afternoon, but there was still enough swings available and play areas for everyone. Highly recommended if looking for a free activity in the are

The BEST park we've been to since coming to TX I am tempted to say it's the best park we've ever taken the children too but that would mean that the one in Singapore or the Maggie Daley park in my hometown Chicago would be lower than this one in ranking and that isn't the case. It is definitely in the TOP 3 parks overall and TOP 2 in the U.S. The soft ground is ideal for running children. The picnic tables are perfect as they are covered and placed so you can sit as an adult and keep an eye on your littles. They also have cool coverings over some of the rides or near them for standing space for parents while they look into their children. The Texas heat is real and the many small covered areas are perfect to beat the direct heat. This is our children FAVORITE park in the DFW.

This is an awesome park in the community. Multiple slides, swing sets, cushioned ground and it looks like it is ADA compliant for those with additional needs. Unfortunately it's currently closed until further notice but I will be back when it opens as the grounds look fantastic!

This is hands-down the best public playground I've ever been to in my life. It is HUGE, with (literally) hundreds of places to climb, slide, and spin. Many of the structures and activities were inventive and unique - this is NOT your average community park playground. I do have to mention, since I'm typically the "take your kids to the park so you can sit on a bench and catch a break" kind of mom, this is not a relaxing park experience if you have toddlers in the group. The park is expansive, with many places for younger children to get hurt or lost. There is no bench that offers a clear vantage point of the entire park. On the upside, if there's any park you'd actually have fun following your kids around, this is it. I have to admit that if I hadn't had a baby strapped to my chest I'd have climbed up and tried out a few of those slides myself! It took us about 25 minutes to get to the park from Bedford and it was absolutely worth it. I'd probably drive an hour to experience this one! Very neat, Grand Prairie, very neat.

One of the absolute best parks I've ever taking our boys to. They are both autistic and I love taking them early in the morning to beat the crowds and heat during summer months! We arrived there was a group of Down syndrome children and parents and teachers. I love to see the smiling faces and the joy of my boys just taking off running to climbing to playing the out door musical instruments. I wish the had splash pads but other than that this place was perfect!

Great play structure for all age ranges. The park is large so if you have multiple kids, I recommend dressing them in bright colors and/or bring walkie talkies.

Several play areas very well designed for kids of all ages and disabilities. Engaging even for our picky 10 and 12 year olds. Busy on a Sunday early afternoon but overall very nice and well maintained playground.

This old gizzard was goin around talking trash to the parents having fun with their kids. Get out of here old fart. In 20 years my children will remember that I had first hand fun and actually played with them instead of sitting around on my phone.

Ask the Community - Playgrand Adventures

Hello! Quick question. Are people able to have birthday parties at the park? Small group of people for my daughters 1st birthday.

Hi Emily, thank you for reaching out. There are no rental opportunities, pavilions are large enough to share on a first come basis.

Is this open? I see that the website says closed for COVID but I didn't know if that was up to date or not.

Hi Cole, thank you for reaching out. PlayGrand Adventures is still closed at the moment. Please feel free to keep an eye on web or social media for the latest updates.

There's an older kid side as well as a younger kid side and we've explored both while here. The couple of times we've visited during the daytime, it's never too crowded, which I like. We came for an evening play date once and there were certainly a lot more people, but my son still got to get on what he wanted without a wait. The park also has nice sand volleyball courts, basketball courts a small running trail and a nice sized little fishing pond. One of the best things is that the bathrooms are located in the center of everything so there's easy access and they are typically pretty clean as far as park bathrooms go. Definitely one of my favorites !

There are multiple activities to do at this park for a fun experience. They offer a children's playground with slides and swings as well as a playground for the smaller kids. They also have tennis courts and a sand volleyball court too!. There is a small fishing pond here with a pier where you can try your luck and cast your line. There are multiple pavilllions with BBQ grills scattered all throughout the park. In the park, they have a small skatepark where you can practice your latest tricks on your skateboard or roller blades. There is also a splash pad here too that is open to the public during the summer months. They provide a parking lot here with ample parking, so parking should never be an issue. This is a great park to get outside and get some vitamin D, whether you're taking a walk or just letting the kids get loose. When planning a birthday party here, reservations are not required, but is a first come, first serve basis. They have a bulletin board here where you can check out the latest events the city has planned for upcoming events and any questions or concerns you may have with Mansfield City Parks.
