The pool is really nice and a good size to accommodate many individuals. We had an Aqua Zumba class that took up about half the pool and the other half of the pool was full of families and kids swimming and lounging in the water. The only drawback is that some of the residents are kind of rude, which is to be expected in a community like Mira Lagos. The Aqua Zumba class is open to the public but you get the third degree before anyone will let you in the pool. Some residents also complain about noise and it appears that they don't want certain people at the pool having fun. But hey, it's a nice community pool so just put some earplugs in and ignore the meanies.

I haven't been over to the waterpark side of things yet, so I can only tell you about the side with the playground, swings, windy-walking path, and fields. It's nestled amongst residential streets and really feels very private despite being bordered by a nearby apartment complex. There's pretty good shade, too. The parking lot closest to the playground is tiny, but there are more spots near the waterpark which is only a short walk away. It might be helpful to note that there is limited seating. Maybe consider a picnic blanket if you're wanting to hang out awhile.

But we went to Howard Moore because she is almost 4 and the deepest this play pool goes to is 1.5 ft. So she got in free with her Swim Pass and I was only charged $2.50! I felt comfortable watching her from the side bc the lifeguards there actually do their jobs! Multiple times I saw the teenagers on duty remind kids to go up the slide using the steps, not crawling back up the tunnel, and to go down feet first after a small boy slid down head-first into a foot of water and struggled to stand up. Cheers to you, lifeguards! Because this pool is so perfect for younger kids, we shared it with 2-3 daycares during our first hour there, each with 8-12 kids, some big, some small. The lady sitting next to me gathered her 3 kids shortly after an older group arrived and explained to her son that, "It's time to go because your little sister got trampled 3 times in the last 5 mins." So be warned. Also their bathrooms are about what you'd expect from park bathrooms (dingy but useable) and the water was extremely cold. Nevertheless, it's a hidden haven of fun for a nominal fee. This first experience with the city's play pool gives me hope for all the others!

Since then, I've been hitting the gym four to five days a week and the results speak for themselves: I've dropped a dress size, two pant sizes, and lost countless inches. Beyond the scale, I'm sleeping better and feeling my body get stronger every day. I'm so grateful for that follow-up and for the incredible trainers and staff at the Mansfield Life Time location who keep me motivated!

Enough is Enough…read more I've been a member here for about 10 years, and the outdoor hot tub is CONSTANTLY broken or closed. And guess what? They never bother to update the app when it's shut down. You show up, pay their ever-increasing fees, and the amenities you came for are just... unavailable. And suddendlty the hot top ( when is working) is closed at sunset... since when? I've complained to the front desk multiple times, and absolutely nothing changes. It feels like they don't fix things until people blast it publicly. For a gym this expensive, this level of upkeep and communication is ridiculous.

However the day of the event was such a disappointment. The steaks were super inconsistent-- some of us had rare, some of us had medium rare, and I had a well done piece. My cousin was struggling to cut his chicken florentine because it was so dry. The biggest offender was the salmon and rice... everyone who ordered this option received UNDERCOOKED RICE! Rice is one of the hardest things to mess up, especially if you use a rice cooker... The bread and butter that was served was dry and unmemorable. It's sad when the appetizers outshine the main dishes. The fruit plate upon seating was well presented. The Beef Wellington (A+ chef's kiss) and coconut shrimp were the saving grace of the event. The pork potstickers were just okay. We had paid drinks as an option, but I don't drink so I asked for a club soda. It came in a plastic bottle and it tasted like plastic. Outside of food, the ballroom provided us a projector. The AV team didn't seem super knowledgeable as it took 30 minutes to get the video AND audio up and going. Overall it wasn't the best in terms of food and the projector, but the room itself was great and the appetizers provided something to remember.
