We went on…read morea two hour ride which took us out on beautiful rugged dusty trails that led to spectacular views of the Theodore Roosevelt Library, Medora and the Badlands. It was surreal to ride out and soak up every moment of this vast land! Abby is welcoming, patient and a professional equestrian who values safety first. We appreciated all the photographs she took of us on the trail and she gave us insight about the local culture and history. We could not have asked for a better trail guide/wrangler. Also as a "horse person" I deeply appreciated how healthy and happy these horses are. They are well cared for that is for sure. We learned that many horses stay here for years, are not over worked and retire with dignity. I highly recommend the two hour ride, it was a deeply meaningful experience!

Piper was very personable and kept up steady conversation. The horses are well mannered, all with their own little quirks. It was nice that our wrangler knows the individual horses well enough to give us a heads up. For example, at the end of the ride there's a wide short bush that the horse I had insists on walking through. It wasn't dangerous, and it's just his preference and gives him a little joy, he scratches his belly on it. Piper knew the horses well enough she gave me a heads up so I wasn't surprised. Initially we had taken our son to a place…read morecalled the kinderkidz, the worst experience hands down, and then grasslands opened up here in Dickinson North Dakota, and the world suddenly became a better place. Instead of crying when we dropped our son off he was actually happy to be there. He learned so many useful things and the staff are all very wonderful people. If you want to take your child to a place where they will be loved unconditionally and treated with kindness, not surrounded by cleaning chemicals and air fresheners, and if you care about your child's health and well being then take them here! Grasslands Montessori is even cheaper then Kinderkidz, best place in the world hands down. I would rate it a thousand stars if I was given the option.

This is shocking for a theater period especially one with reclining seats as well. That's reason enough to go to this theater... The concession is small but has some nice standard snacks. The staff seemed nice from the limited interactions I had with them as well. Now for the theater space... the theater was clean and had recline seats. We sat in the back and learned that we should pick a seat closer to the screen. If you are in the back, you will hear the loud door open/close which happens a lot in a kids movies especially. The sound isn't as loud too so surround sound may be lacking. If you are short like my 5'2 self, you will also have your view be obstructed by the seats in front of you and are not able to fully recline back since it will obstruct your view more. Overall, we would come here again and just sit in closer to the screen and speakers. It's a cute small affordable theater so worth a drop by to the latest movies.
