All performances were live with a live band no prerecordings. The singers and dancers were great and the choice of music was very entertaining. My wife got a bucket of Popcorn which was a little too salty and no coke products but besides that no problems. Wish we had the grandkids with us only good clean entertainment. Would go again.

It was surreal to ride out and soak up every moment of this vast land! Abby is welcoming, patient and a professional equestrian who values safety first. We appreciated all the photographs she took of us on the trail and she gave us insight about the local culture and history. We could not have asked for a better trail guide/wrangler. Also as a "horse person" I deeply appreciated how healthy and happy these horses are. They are well cared for that is for sure. We learned that many horses stay here for years, are not over worked and retire with dignity. I highly recommend the two hour ride, it was a deeply meaningful experience!

Piper was very personable and kept up steady conversation. The horses are well mannered, all with their own little quirks. It was nice that our wrangler knows the individual horses well enough to give us a heads up. For example, at the end of the ride there's a wide short bush that the horse I had insists on walking through. It wasn't dangerous, and it's just his preference and gives him a little joy, he scratches his belly on it. Piper knew the horses well enough she gave me a heads up so I wasn't surprised. We came at the beginning of August to tour the new TR presidential library. This was my first…read morepresidential library and all I can say is wow! I don't even know what to start with from how beautiful the building is to all of the amazing exhibits. This place is truly one of a kind. I honestly could've spent hours in there. I wish I would've had more time. It's new as it just opened a month ago so obviously it was very very busy . I love to see everyone so excited about history. I don't know when I'll ever get back to Medora again, but this was probably the highlight of the trip. I went with some of my nieces And it was really fun viewing the museum through their eyes. Particularly the interactive room with TR where you can ask him all sorts of questions that was just so educational. I can see why this museum took so long to come to fruition. But it's absolutely superb. I would say my favorite room is what we called the train room. All of the love letters written on the walls were so endearing to read. I was also lucky enough to see his actual Journal that will only be on display for a short period of time.

I was a little surprised that they called this a visitor center because it's really just a rest stop with a bathroom and a small office. It was just after 5:00 when we arrived and everything was closed but I noticed that the bathrooms both had signs on them that had been taped up that said out of order. I thought that was odd because I understand one restroom being out of order, but both? Anyway, we decided to get some dinner and come back in the morning. When we returned there were some gentlemen emptying the garbage cans and as I walked up to the office again , they told me that a water main had broke a few days ago so they put out of order signs on the bathrooms because they have no water. When I asked about the "visitors center" they said they didn't have any information but that they had just decided to close down that whole area since it closes for the season in 10 days anyway.

You can tell they have pride, not only in their work at the Museum, but in their community and history. The complex is off the beaten path by only a block, so it is easy to miss it. Take the extra 15 seconds to go down that block - you will be so happy you did. There is no admission and no pressure to make a donation.
