Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

The business is locally owned and has an appealing inventory. Customer service was cheerful, and the owner patiently explained reasons for the check out issues I faced. Someone is using their shop name for fraud. 5 STARS for the real business. FAKE -- The jkgiftshop.com online site is reported to be fake. It seems scammers post items for sale which don't really exist in an attempt to lure in unsuspecting customers to shop the fake site vs. the real store. The checkout process fails, but your credit card information has already been exposed and potentially hijacked. I learned about this when I contacted the brick and mortar stores to report I'd been unable to complete my online purchase. Turns out, I'd landed on the fake website which the shop owner saaid they'd been trying to have taken down without success for quite some time. 1 STAR due to the scam site. END RESULT -- Soon after being lured to the fake site, I began seeing fraudulent charges on my credit card. I've had to get a new card and update wallet info "everywhere". Huge waste of my time, and upsetting, too. Scammers didn't get my money, but did steal my time, peace of mind, and overall sense of security. I can only imagine how the business owners feel as they're being scammed daily. So wrong!

Cool aunts shop at Double Rainbow…read more This children's boutique is the trendiest spot in town for those under the age of 10. Their adorable storefront is stocked with the coolest patterns. All items are unique and fun, hence the business name. Honestly, there were several pieces I'd love in adult sizes. While their speciality is clothing, they also sell a number of knickknacks, books, stickers, toys, etc. It's a great spot to shop for a birthday or baby shower, especially since you're guaranteed to find something unique. There's even a play kitchen to keep your little ones entertained while you shop. Double Rainbow truly thought of everything.

Affordable Gifts in Good Taste…read more This little shop has been here since at least 1997, when I first came upon it just before Christmas that year. Without success, I'd been looking for holiday-related gifts for co-workers, that weren't silly, Disney character-related, juvenile, or something they'd already have or would likely receive. It had to be unique and affordable---but for no more than about $12. I found every gift here. Gifts Unlimited had the perfect selection of well-made and out-of-the-ordinary, but instead of choosing 3 or 4 different items, I opted for all the same in the two diffferent color choices. Pine Cones! Gold and Silver, life-size, life-like, textured, shiny/matte finish on each, sparkly, and quite heavy. Festive, decorative, and holiday-themed paper weights! A dieing what-not. But so cute. They used them, too---or at least displayed them---and no fights or comparing who got what. Sorry I never kept one for myself. Since then, this well-stocked shop has never disappointed. Same thing happened yesterday. I found the perfect, inexpensive gift for someone who already has everything she needs. I'd been looking for something small to display on a window sill or bathroom cabinet. Perfect. Cat-related. Was originally 19.00, and reduced to just 11.50. I'm sure you'll find a delightful, well-priced item here, too. Though small, the floor plan is very interesting and well-thought-out---like an easily-maneuvered, customer-friendly maze. The probably three dozen different displays are like little vignettes---each featuring a particular theme or material---whether on wood cabinets, tables, or glass shelving. In addition to the many hundreds of unique gift items and collectibles, you'll find the expected cards, gift wrapping, and small stained glass window ornaments. This is definitely a place to check out. It was a real pleasure. Especially when I found the perfect gift---again---and had two very friendly, happy-to-work-there, good-natured women to assist me.

The previous review was enough to bring my mother and I in for some last-minute Christmas shopping…read more The best way to get me pissed immediately after entering an establishment is to ignore your patrons entirely, and the 3-or-so staffers here at Gifts Unlimited did so impeccably. To be ignored the whole time we shopped around the store as some of the only patrons there makes for a very frustrating shopping experience for someone with my retail expectations, and they're lucky we still bought some things. I either have one of those faces, or a simple "Hi, welcome!" is way too much to ask in some parts of Cleveland. Some of the items are nice but nothing you can't find at the Cleveland Flea if you're looking for local goods. I have no need or desire to come back.
