I've never had my hair dry cut before, so I thought that was a little weird, especially since my hair was wavy at the time, but okay. I was fairly happy with the cut, but was a little bummed so much was taken off the bottom when I made it clear I was growing my hair out and only wanted layers cut into my hair. Also, someone else was getting highlights while I was there, and the whole time, no stylists spoke to anyone. At all. Silence. Now that I type it all...it seems a little weird....

As we waited for 35 minutes since no one checked us in more people checked in online. We did not know this was an option and no one explained this to us. After waiting 40 minutes we asked how much longer and they said 3 other people check in ahead of us. So we wasted 40 minutes of our life sitting in their uncomfortable lobby for no reason. We left and will never return. This business needs to work on its customer service.

Also, having been inside the salon, I can honestly say that I'm not missing anything about it. Most of the stylists are very quiet and just unfriendly! They do the work but there's no smiles or conversation with clients. I would die of boredom if I got my hair done there.

To make a long story short I made an appointment with this so called salon and the moment I walked in the atmosphere was really dead, only 3 hairdressers were there,one of which was learning , they did not engage in any conversations nor where any of them friendly at all. The new hairdresser did my hair with the guidance of the other hairdresser, I had a color and highlite, now while it was not bad it was not good either and the price EEEEKS!! not worth it at all, so a few weeks went by and I was due for another color so I decided to give them another chance when I called to make the appt I had informedI her that while I realize a person needs to learn somewhere I chose not to be the one to learn on after all this is a business I am a paying customer, she informed me that I had no choice!! I had to see the new be I had before!! I said I wanted someone else she then said I was not welcome there! So clearly I was a victim of discrimination all because I chose not to be a guinapig, i definitely would never recommend this place as a matter of fact I am surprised they can afford to stay open!! One of the hair stylists finished as we were coming. I sat and waited but knew I was next because the app told me battery up and I was the only person on the marquee who was in the store. The stylists asked the guy something and the next thing I knew, she was putting him in her chair. Apparently, he made up a story that he was sitting in his car waiting and didn't know he was suppose to check in. I know this anthropology true because he pulled up at the same time as me. The stylist said nothing to me and carried on. There were 3 stylists present with nobody but me in the store, yet there wait said 57 minutes plus for there other people on the marquee. Not cool! Tami, I will not be coming back to your store again. You have been wonderful but the service from this store is atrocious now.

He gave me one of the best haircuts I've gotten in a long time. My hair is curly and not "easy" to deal with. He took lots of time and did a great job. The only downside is that they are usually booked kind of far out. Just call, though.

Quality cut...which have been a challenge in Altus Earned 4 stars meaning it's most likely my new…read moregoto. Apparently, it's the same building since back in the 60's when it opened which checks bc it looks a little run down on the outside (see pic) and the inside is interesting as well. Staff was very friendly and asked for additional input regarding your cut while getting after it. I prefer this rather than going hog wild and then it's unrecoverable (see altus AFB hair"hack" review I posted) $11 for the cut which I'd call average price. Didn't provide a razor around the ears but still an average cut anywhere else but above average for the area. Good luck Cheers
