Plaza Cleaners is located in the Woodland Plaza aka "Albertson's", UPS, and others. With easy parking in a shared lot, I'm always able to pull right in right in front, or worse, a few spots over. Bernice set the tone for a great experience. Very nice, and knowledgeable. The prices are fair, but not cheap. After all, is anywhere? It's double from pre-pandemic. They do a nice job overall. I had a silk sweater cleaned. At first she charged me for it. When it came off the rack it had fallen off the hanger and she asked me if they could press it. I said yes. When I got it back it had a stain on it. She said they could not get it out. It would have been nice to know before I paid! read more

STORY I rescued a dog in San Diego area and upon picking him up from the rescuers ( Felt I was rescuing him from his rescuers) I needed to give him a bath because he was in a filthy pen. I took my white button up shirt from Thailand off and placed it on a brick wall. I had no idea that there was black mastic/silicone or something on the other side of the wall. I would give zero stars. I dropped off a dress and my husband's suit. Came back a week later. They said there was a stain on it and it needed to be cleaned again. (What stain??? I didn't have any stains, it was just a cleaning before the summer started). They asked that I pay for all my dry cleaning including the dress not done yet. I came back a week later. Dress still not done. Returned a week later again and they said they can't find the dress. They offer store credit?? Um no thank you. They offered to pay for dress if I have a receipt.. give me a break. They didn't seem to care that the dress was lost. Im still trying to settle getting my dry cleaning bill to get reimbursed as well. Still hoping my dress turns up. I'll never go here again read more

After checking out Yelp to see where to take my wedding dress to be dry cleaned, I decided on Plaza Cleaners. I called ahead of time to get an idea about pricing. The prices sounded fine to me, so I gathered my things and headed on over. This place to me when you walk in is like any cleaners spot really. A place to walk in and drop your clothes at the counter and then behind the counter is clothing for days. The gal at the front desk was super helpful and guessed right at the pricing she gave me over the phone. Due to the pricing seeming so reasonable, we dropped off my husbands pants, vest and shirt to get dry cleaned and pressed as well. This is my first dry cleaning experience at this place. I picked up my dry cleaning on Thursday- it's just a wool jacket that they charged me $15 for. I didn't mind paying although I thought it's a bit higher than what I was used to pay for dry cleaning in the Bay Area. I didn't check their work and today while getting ready to go out with my husband and kids, I was amazed at how dirty my jacket looks! I mean I could have spent my whole day rolling a lint roller on my jacket and I would have done a better job!!! It looks like someone just shoved the lint on the collar area and called it a day and charged me $15! Due to limited dry cleaning places in this area, I might still go back there and tell them upfront how dirty their first work was and I'm absolutely unimpressed. Not sure how their Atascadero location is but I'll probably try them first before spending another dime in this location. I need a lint roller! read more

Had to bring my dry cleaning here as they're open later than my normal place and I couldn't get there on time. Big mistake. My wife went to pick up my uniform and advised me that they didn't have my shirt. Apparently it was sent to the wrong store. I stopped there after work and it still wasn't there. Had to wait forever for it to get brought from the incorrect store by the delivery driver, and the staff was less than helpful during the process. If you value your time, go somewhere else because Plaza Cleaners makes it clear that they do not value your time. read more

I recently got married and the wedding was outdoors. The bottom of my dress from the knee down was ombré White to tan to brown from being in beautiful but dry dusty fields and I wanted to get it dry cleaned, since it's not a typical wedding gown, and is just a long white dress. I would love to wear it again sometime. Plaza cleaners had great reviews and they were close to home so I went to give them a try. The staff was friendly, took care of me quickly, and had my dress and another white sweater ready in just a few short days. I was in no rush but appreciated the turnaround time. Prices are appropriate. They did a great job and my dress and sweater and bright white again. Almost like new. Thank you! I'll return again when I need something dry cleaned. read more

I dropped of a pair of pants and a shirt to get dry cleaned on a thursday, the gentleman behind the counter was having a hard time finding someone's graduation gown, ask me if I was dropping off, then ask for my phone number and I told him that I needed it by Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning I stroll in and gave the lady behind the counter my phone number and sat there while she put in all of my information into the computer. she then shows me the pants (that weren't done) and couldn't find my shirt, she then tells me to come back after 4. I told her that I said that I needed my shirts and pants by Tuesday morning for a job interview. She returned to looking around and asking other workers. She told me that she was going to see what she can do and would be calling me in 1 hour. I left and went home, after 1 1/2 hours, I called her to see what's going on and she told me that both the shirt and the pants are ready for pick-up. I went in to pick them up and I did not even get a "sorry" or anything else. I used this dry cleaners out of necessity but I don't think I will be returning here. read more

Fairly new to the area, a neighbor recommended Plaza Cleaners for dry cleaning and I'm so glad they did. I have a favorite dress that's delicate chiffon material and it came back looking brand new, same with my custom made kitchen curtain, it had baking stains from the holidays and they still were able to get them out. I sent my suede purse to them in Demeter 18. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks cuz it needed to be sent to LA. But I haven't heard about it for more than a month... I was worried that they lost the purse so I called them on January 25. The girls can't locate my purse and said only the manager can and would tell manager to call my ASAP on Monday. But I never got a phone call on Monday. So I called on Tuesday. This time they told me the manager would call me back within an hour, but again, she never did. So.. I called again.. cuz I was rly worried that they lost the purse. Finally they said it was ready for pick up on Friday. I really don't mind the long wait time, but this frustration?!?! If you can't remember to give a single phone call to a costumer, tell them to call back later. read more

I have been coming here since 2009, when they donated money to support a 9/11 tribute project at Paso Robles High School. They have always been able to accommodate me. This past Friday I came up needing my suit pressed for a meeting Monday. They told me to come back in 15 minutes, and sure enough they had took care of it right then and there. I was extremely happy. Went in the other day with a friend that was picking up his clothes. The lady that helped him was Doris. She is a hoot and a half. She retrieved his cleaning quickly. Asked about how his family was doing. Smiled the entire time we were there. She asked me who cleaned my clothes and advised when I got tired of them come see her. If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience was much like some of the other negative reviewers. I dropped off some clothes (17 shirts and 2 pants) to them on 7/31/15. The woman that helped me was cordial and I told her what was in my bag. I asked for a company bag when I returned to pick up my clothes. She said not a problem. She told me they would be ready on Monday the 3rd of August. I returned on the 8/3/15 at 5 pm to find 16 shirts that were done and one shirt she said they needed time to "work on a stain" She showed me the shirt and it looked as though it was icing from a donut or something on a small part. It was dry and simply flaked off when I rubbed it with my fingernail. But, I went ahead and let them keep it to be cleaned off. The next day when I returned I mentioned I was there to pick up the shirt and the two pair of pants that were not in the first pickup. I got the shirt but the attendant said "there was never any pants in your bag". Further, she said..."I remember checking you in and you had said there were pants so I was gonna call you when I didnt see any.." Strangely, she newver called. Bottom line. Pants are gone. Incredibly...The shirt that I picked up was not cleaned at all. The same icing stain was on it. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I simply removed it with my fingernail. I took the shirt and promptly told them I would never be back. "Good luck finding another place" is what the attendant said to me in a condescending manner. I know of two other people that have lost items here. I will NEVER be back. Terrible service. read more
